My wife's English has come a million miles and then some, but early on it was to say the least, 'interesting.' She never was around much swearing growing up (although I think the term 'bullsh!t' must be universal) and has never taken kindly to it, although after eleven years here she occasionally lets a 'choice' cuss word out at the appropriate time.
But when I got mad at her and said something like " I am NOT going to have that, DAMMIT!" She got VERY offended and sternly told me: "I am NOT a dammit and don't you call me one!!!!"
I honestly don't know how you guys with mainly Spanish speaking wives can handle it. I'd have lost my patience, religion and tooth enamel a long time ago.
