Latest Football Match:  Gato 1-0 Scammer !!!  Messi scored!!  LOL

It would be nice if every native men know how to deal with any potential scammers.  There will always be next person to be scammed for whatever the amount is!  I know this is the Latin site, but FSU (Former Soviet Union) scammers are far worse than both Latinas and Fillipinas putting together.

Knowing potential scammers, always know your way round to it!

A woman whom I 'met' in TravelGirls came from Lugansk, Ukraine  (A well known city for scammers).  Lugansk was destroyed by recent 'war' by Russian bombings.   Anyway, she wants to meet me in Kiev, and travel by taxi which will cost me 300 Euros one way so 600 euros both ways.  She refused to travel by bus or train as she prefers "comfortable".   I told her how about meeting in Kharkov (2nd biggest city) instead.  Kharkov is about 'pig in the middle' between Kiev and Lugansk.  She said it is too dangerous.  I have friend living in Kharkov and said no problems there now - only Lugansk and Dontesk.

I told her "ok", and I'll book the taxi for you via the Internet.  She shouted "NOOOOOOO.  I do not want to get killed by stranger"
(obviously she only wanted me to send her money!)

Now you know she is 100% scammer!!!  Try to work out scammers without telling them that they are scammers!!

Let's not get too confident....Some of us have gotten much better at spotting scammers, but there are some scammers that are very good at what they do and will invest a great deal of time to get to where its finally time to 'set the hook' just like in fishing.

Never say 'never'--it CAN happen to any of us, I believe. Some guys don't realize they've been scammed till long after the marriage! There's always a faster pussy cat and a better mouse trap someone's working on.
Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!

You seemed to have fun playing around with her..

Why don't you do the old Trick that Benjio told us (I believe)..

Tell her you changed your mind, and you sent  the money by Western Union. Give her a fake number and tell her to go to the WU office..better yet, make it another agency she has to travel to get to . When she comes back, and she says she couldn't get it, tell her "ohh..sorry..I made a mistake by one digit"..keep this going .keep playing this game with "her" as long as possible...she (or He , or her boyfriend or uncle or whatever) will be so filled with greed until they finally figure you are scamming "them"..tell us how it goes..they deserve it...

Definition of "Scam" is quite wide. I just sent 70,000 COP to a girl in Cali to meet me in Armenia. But she was recommended by a refuted agency and we have been corresponding for a while. Still, it is against my better judgement, but I am mentally prepared  to lose the 80,000.

Worse yet, I reserved a hotel room with Despegar in Salento for  $100.

If she does scam me, her name will be dirt in the agency, and I will just get one of my other amigas to go with me to Salento.

Which all goes to show..I couldnt be MES, because he apparently has a beautiful wife, kids and mistress in Medellin and wouldnt be wasting his time doing this sh¿it. ja..ja..ja..

Ronell, the only way we are ever going believe you (the poster called elexpatriado) are not Mes-Ronell-CocaineCowboy, is for you to tell who you really are, or meet me at the police station and prove it in person. For now, we are convinced you are Ronell-MES-CrazyAss-et. al.
So, unless you want to prove you are somebody else besides MES then shut the f-u-c-k up about it. Nobody believes you and nobody likes you. Even on the forum that you own, (the auxiliary Colombian Vanilla forum), you are hated and reviled.
So either put up or shut up and stop trolling/stalking/trashing threads
If you are unhappy change something. Quit your job. Move. Leave your miserable relationship. Stop making excuses. You are in control.

70,000 COP is a crummy $30. When I first was talking to my wife over the internet, she did not have a web cam so I sent her some money so she could buy one. Not much, again about 70,000 COP. I figured if she didn't get the web cam at least I would know what she was really about. She was as good as her word and got the web cam which I enjoyed immensely.

I agree, $30 is nothing. When you say when you first started talking to your now wife over the internet, was this days,  or weeks after you initially got talking?
Reason I ask, even though it is only $30, and not a big deal if it was all lies, but the old saying, start as you mean to go on springs to mind here, once you start buying them things, many chicas kinda expect it after that.
I made the dreaded mistake when I first my ex Colombiana, was with her 3 weeks in Cartagena, she had a very basic mobile phone so at the end of those 3 weeks and I decided she was a good girl for me and bought her a much more modern mobile, not really expensive, about 600,000 peso, she was over the moon with it, trouble was, I had made the biggest mistake of my life and she then kinda expected things all the time, so it is a tricky one to say to yourself, do I dont I buy her that, knowing it could well possible be the start of her asking all the time

True. You don't want them to get the expectation that you're always going to be there as their personal ATM. In my case, it was worth spending the $30 just as a little test of her character.
