Some fricking hillbilly let a bunch of cows out on Mt Papi today. It is one thing to have to deal with the demise of Palos de Muguer, Malutos café, the growing garbage in the calle but now I have cows on my trail…and you know what cows do…or shall I say doo doo. And furthermore, I don’t know what these cows are eating but one or two of them needs a dose of Imodium. It is one thing to put up with the occasional houndoggy dropping but you can’t imagine what these cows are doing splattering all over the middle of my morning route. Hijo de pucha

I don't know very much about you except from what I read here and there, and I know we had a beef in the past after a misunderstanding which was my bad, and I hope you don't consider this post any kind of flame, because it's not, but I got to ask..

Why don't you ever stick around in one city and try to make a relationship work?  You say you have a keeper in Cali, but yet you want to fly off to Asia.  It doesn't make sense.  You might be able to find real happiness if you give it some time and a little effort.

Monty, I probably should not share this but as I wrote an amigo, maybe she is not a keeper after all….she was drunk tonight and obnoxious. I met her at a bar with her amiga and amigo. The 3 of them had polished off a fifth of vodka and wanted me to get in the car with them, which I refused. Some Colombians can be idiots! Anyway, she went with her amigos. She might call me all apologetic tomorrow but she showed me her true colors…off to Asia

my wife vomited in my shoe one night after a wild party, while we were still dating. Sometimes you have to forgive, especially if the lady in question is young. If a man wants young, firm, pretty ladies, the cost is that he has to deal with inmaturity, friends, both female and male etc etc.

just my 2cents on why you should be so fast in dropping the ladies so fast when the step out of line.

Nick, I didn't drop her...she left me last night when I would not get in the car with her drunken driver after I rode for 30 minutes in a taxi to go see her. I offered to pay for a taxi for all of us but they refused. Anyway, I am seeing her tonight for dinner. What did you do with the shoe??

Trashed the shoe, wife bought me a new pair, then we just laughed at the situation.

Nick, we ended up having a real nice romantic dinner at a lovely place in Barrio Granada called Granada Faro. They make a marvelous risotto which we enjoyed along with a wonderful Chilean red wine. Then we later watched fireworks for Cali's 450th birthday off my balcony. Sent her home early
