Seeking wingman for Feria de Cali '13 (Colombia)
« on: June 30, 2013, 06:11:37 PM »
Gents,

I'm a new member here and like many of you I share a passion for Colombian women.  I'm 30 years old, was born in Colombia and I've been living in the U.S. for seventeen years (and in New York City for the past 5).  I'm originally from Bogota and will be visiting my family there in December.  From Dec. 25 to Dec. 30 I will be in Cali (will be my third time) and I'm looking for a wingman.  I was there two years ago with my cousin and it was without a doubt one of the best weeks of my life (went back to visit a girl I was dating one time afterwards).  If you play your cards rights, you will not believe the types of girls you can find and the kind of fun you can have.  I've been fortunate to have partied in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and I can tell you objectively that you'll be hard pressed to find the overall level of energy that you find in Cali any where else.

Drop me a note if this seems intriguing.  Those of you who have done some research will know that trips like these are all about planning and being proactive. i.e. work the colombiancupid circuit before heading there, understanding the group/dating dynamics, getting plane tickets/hotels WAY in advance, working on your dancing skills, etc.

Like many of you, I hope to one day marry a Colombian girl, but in the meantime, I want to have fun. Life is too short and I always seize the moment.

Here are a couple of additional factors that would help you determine if we would be good wingman's for each other.

- Be under 35 yrs. old. (goal is to attract 18-30 year old women)
- Be outgoing/friendly/funny (keeping girls entertained is by far the most important factor in having a good time)
- Be adventurous
- Know how to dance salsa or have an interest in learning (even though I'm Colombian I'd rank my salsa dancing skils at a 5 out of 10 - I plan to take classes every day I'm in Cali).
- Know some Spanish (w/o this, it'd be hard to really make friends and meet women).

What can I tell you about me? I work in finance, I'm well educated (econ undergrad, masters in finance), I love to have a great time, to seduce women, to make friends.  When I'm in NY I'm by no means a party guy.  I work long hours and I'm also working on my own company on the side so I don't have a lot of free time.  I have a lot of of friends here who always talk about wanting to come to Colombia but I don't think any of them will be able to make it this year. Dropping $2K+ is not something everybody can do, especially around the holidays.  I've traveled alone before and I'm prepared to do it again, but in my experience, having a good friend by your side makes the experience much more pleasant.

Cheers,

-Cisco

disappointing how your age limit for a wing man has a ceiling of 35 yrs in order to attract 18yr olds.....is it your presumption that a fit, charismatic, non ugly man who is fluent in espanol and  in his 40s would have even the slightest problem attracting MANY HOT 18 year old colombianas.

you limit your search for a talented wingman with an intimate knowledge of cali and the women of cali with this approach

I should clarify -- none of the things I list are really meant to "disqualify" anybody.  I'm certain that the guy in his 40s you describe would do very well in Cali -- AND could be an awesome wingman.

if your goal is to bed/date hot young women in cali there is a guy on here that has a ton of experience doing that. Pretty sure he's over 35. I'm a bit younger than you and just from reading your post I can't imagine going out of my way to meet you. If you are pleasant though surely you'll meet some guys living in Cali.

Uuummmm...yeah. bcc read my mind. The most eligible wingman you could hope for posts on this board often and I'm sure he's a tad bit over 35. You're right though...Cali is an awesome city for partying. Especially if you're just looking to go out and have a  good time with some nice looking chicas. That's all I could ever get done there even though it wasn't exactly by choice. jijiji. I have plans to return but it definitely will not be around that time of year. I spend enough time away from family already. The holidays are for the states.

Hi Colombianloco, I was just googling about the feria to see if it's worth going next month and this post was on the first page search results, I have the miles and means to go next month, I've never been to Cali, but I lived in Medellin.  I also live in NY now, I'm fluent in spanish, 35yo, "maybe we have a match?" lol, let me know if you still plan on going and if you'd like to chat, I'm seriously interested..cchaser

If you and your wing man plan to target 18 year olds there won't be much need to know how to dance salsa. You'll more likely find them dancing reageton and rave etc. Myself I'm pretty keen on baile de choque.

I know a guy who is 73 and looks like Yoda from star wars- has no trouble getting 18 year old chicas- like Ronnel said, get 'em drunk and they'll do anything (too gross to put here)..just make sure you and your wingman stay sober..and the "wingman's" main task (as well as yours) is to make sure no one puts 'danga in your drink...

Hmmm--So I guess it's true that it's never too late to have a happy childhood?

What do you mean "forget all the rest"?  Is that your strategy bcc?  Just supply girls with alcohol and then just stand there like a geek while the girls dance and have fun?  Ha, good luck with that. As soon as they start getting tipsy they're going to ditch you for some guys who are actually fun to be around.

I really dont know -maybe true in that case, depends when ,where and how the money is injected...i dont know the personal situation with this guy, though he is a Chicano who is 100% fluent and knows  how to manipulate the girls., But I know a 62 year old  (who looks 50) is 6'3", fluent, can dance good, and he is always dating "10s" , and he is definitely not a monger, alltough he has a lot of money..i guess ifhe didnt have athe money it would be a different story.

True..
But just try being a tacanyo and not buying any drinks and see how far you can go, even if you are a 32 year old Brad Pit look alike who can dance like Fred Astaire..

bcc means that he feels he is so great that would have them buying him drinks and begging for him to bring them home...of course he is fantasizing illusions of grandeur as usual.

Actually if I was your wingman I'd say forget supplying somebody else's alcohol and forget the 18 year olds.  I steer clear of that scene altogether.  I look for a group of smartly dressed, mature 25-40 age group, who already have 2 or 3 bottles of guaro on their table, and are sending out serious vibes that they're looking to mingle.  That's what I zero in on when I'm out partying and it's easy to find if you know the right places to go.

make sure no one puts 'danga in your drink...

If you have to worry for 1 second about somebody slipping something in your drink, that right there should tell you that you're hanging out with the wrong crowd.
