Brazil was a blast !!!!

Went to Sao Paulo, Rio, a few other smaller cities and Porto alegre. Since the world cup and Olympics will be there soon the govt really cracked down on the crime, we saw none the whole trip and felt safe walking around at night. In Colombia, that would be a really stupid thing  to doThe guy I was tagging along with who goes 2 to 3 times a year and has been all over south America, but prefers brazil, of course he is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish so he has it easy. My Portuguese consisted of about 6 words  but I did start to pick it up a little. Went to the beaches of course, which was awesome, nice seeing hot women wearing next to nothing lol.  Did para-sailing  some surfing, or at least tried to do it, been 15 years lol.  Ate and drank a lot, prices were ok, reasonable. Everybody was totally friendly with us and showed us a great time.  Went to some small bars/ discos, soon as the locals knew we were foreigners, they were dragging us onto the dance floor, trying to get us moving, omg, was funny watching gringos trying to dance like Brazilians. Man, these girls can moveeeeeeee and when they like you, they REALLY like you lol.

thanks mudd for responding.  My intention is not to badger you so please don't take it that way.  I don't know if you are in her age range or not but I would be driven nuts if I was hanging around a beautiful girl like that and I didn't make a play for her.  I am looking to find a long term lady but I'm not against  some clean fun also.  I don't know if I'd find it fun being cockteased by the ladies.  I could pay visit to a strip club if I wanted that.

we are in agreement.  Two of my children are over 20 and I enjoy listening to their banter but I am not able to form friendhips with kids that age.  Some of you guys can, which is a limitation I must have.  Did you find a lot of ladies that spoke spanish or was it all portuguese in brazil? Yep....I have no idea myself. Much more of an ethnic variety than Colombia too. A man could pretty much think of a female celebrity that makes his blood boil and find a dozen exact look-a-likes in any major Brazilian City.

There are probably tens of thousands of single women in Rio with looks that would blow your mind, are educated, have a job, and honestly want to find a good man to marry. The only difference between them and a lot of Colombianas is they will not throw themselves at your feet because you're a foreigner.

We actually have one guy on here who has been talking to some chick he met online for a week and she's already convinced him that she's hopelessly in love with him and ready to get married.  They haven't even met in person and she already talked him into starting the visa process to get her over here.  Forget the term "mail order bride" we need to start calling them "point and click brides".

very little spanish i found, some could grasp it, some couldnt. same with english. you did find a few here and there who could speak two or three languages.

thank you for answering my question.  Are you able to speak portuguese or were the women able to understand you through spanish.  I ask because I speak spanish but I don't think I'm going to start learning portuguese at this late date.

if you already speak spanish, most girls can grasp it to some extent and what worked great for me was google translate on my android phone, whenever i got stuck or couldnt get it, wala spoke it into the phone and came out in Portuguese.
