Never in my 18 years of traveling and dating women in Colombia have I ever had a woman add a phone card to a restaurant check....but I have to admit that I'm not sure I have ever gone to a restaurant that sells them on the side. jajaja

Another common thing I have noticed that is probably not in the manipulation category but it is annoying, some girls will automatically order the most expensive thing on the menu.

Personally I don't recommend dinner dates just because  they have the lowest return on investment when it comes to your time and cash and eventually getting the chick in bed....much better to go clubbing....might be a bit more expensive if you go it alone without splitting a bottle with another couple but you will have more than doubled your chances of a happy ending. jajaja

The chicks that I do take to dinner I already know well and like a lot....can't say that I have ever noticed if one of them ever ordered the most expensive thing on the menu but most of the restaurants I go to things max. out at about 40 mill.....so if you don't like a chick enough to spend 20 bucks or so on a meal don't invite them out to eat....a couple of cocktails can easily cost as much as one of the plates on the menu so it takes a special woman to do a dinner date....you not only have to like banging them but talking to them as well. jajaja

I always wondered what the big deal was with all of this debate about prepago this and prepago that in those threads with benjio, zon, fathertime and the rest of the crew.  I think I even commented a few times thinking I knew what they were discussing.  Lol!

I never heard of a girl speaking negatively about women from her own region. Colombians are usually pretty impressed with themselves. I have however found that it's pretty common in Colombia for the women of one subculture to make negative generalizations about another. Paisas talk bad about Calenas. Calenas talk bad about Costenas. Costenas talk bad about Bogotanas. IMHO I don't think you're more likely to encounter a working girl in one part of Colombia as supposed to another. I will admit I've never stepped foot in Medellin though...and it's supposedly the Monger's Mecca. There are interesadas and gold diggers everywhere just like there are plenty of good women everywhere. Usually the determining factors are the decisions gringos make when they actually start dating there.

I will add that some girls in Colombia may give off that prepago vibe, but they actually aren't prepagos. I've made the mistake of assuming that before. well htown, you sure did find an interesting story this man tells, over a period of a couple years.  I can relate to a few of his stories, when I was seeing a lot of women.


 I can recall one lady adding a 5 or 10k phone card to a dinner bill, i can recall one lady ordering food and then taking the majority of it to go, in another case I was walking with a 1st date at the mall and she expressed interested in an item costing around $100.she really wanted me to buy it for her.  i can recall a few other low level scamming techniques.  Since i was looking to marry a lady, I would have to not date these type women after they revealed themselves. They  were all very attractive by my tastes and a part of me didn't want to release them, but i don't know what the point would have been to continue dating. 


In addition there were other instances were a lady appeared to be similarly intentioned as myself, but for one reason or another I wasn't interested ENOUGH in her so I had to a bit of a bastard and stop seeing her, and it goes without saying that cut both ways as I can recall a woman or 2 that suddenly stop answering the phone or was suddenly óut of town' as well.      I guess that is the dating game in colombia and many a man that goes into this looking for a wife winds getting involved with other types of women, it could happen to most anybody.

I read a lot of complaints from certain men about the women from these countries, which I find a little disconcerting.  I think I would complain too if I were among them and not getting a piece of the pie.  I think i'd be frustrated.
