Ohhh now you want to attack me personally which I carefully refrained from doing to you.  Lets make a mental note of this of this so later when you have a fit we can refer back to this moment.

My apologies...my intention was not to attack you personally. You're someone that believes 100% what he reads in the media instead of considering the possibility that Chavez could have just been trying to clean up his image and continued to support the FARC financially behind closed doors. And that's fine....your opinion. Most Colombians I speak with would disagree with you, but you are definitely entitled to it.

I have forgiven most everybody for a lot of things so yes I would say it is forgivable since he turned away from them for many years. Those that lost loved ones and feel Chavez helped enable the farc obviously don't have to.

Again, that's your prerogative. I commend your capacity to forgive. I for one, am not as easily appeased when someone financially and politically supports an organization that is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, many of them innocent civilians, since the 60's. Maybe that's just my poor judgement acting up again though.  ;D

dats kewl...i forgive you.   :D

that is untrue... i don't believe 100% of what i read, if you haven't noticed i'm usually quite the opposite.

my feeling is it was an error for chavez to support the farc in any way...he had his own country to run...colombia's problems he should have stayed out of and eventually he did.
don't worry about your poor judgement though, i'm sure you make up for it with other sociable traits.  ;D

Gotcha, I was wondering where on earth you came up with the devil comment.

Regarding Obozo, I'm sure he has done quite a few shady things, but it becomes an issue of extent of corruption.  The left said the same stuff about GWB, which I also generally did not believe.

Don't be shy!  What is it that makes you think obozo is corrupt?  I think he won the election fairly.  I think his foreign policy is a tax payer funded continuation of the foreign nation bribes all his predecessors also had, and i find that policy revolting.

Man, I know you know about his corruption and are just making conversation, but I would rather not here. Infact, I don't even like talking about him anymore. He drains my spirit. I will say this for him, though; he and the voting sheeple were the catalyst to pull the trigger on going to S America to mate and do business.

It seems that Chavez is to be embalmed and not buried.

You think colombia is LESS CORRUPT than the united states?  You think it's easier to do business there?  You think colombia is such a great country when their young women are jumping at the chance to marry any goofball american who is able to get them a visa so they can get the hell out of their country?  Are you being serious?  Do you really believe what you're saying or am I missing something?

Yes, you're definitely, positively, all around, missing something. Nobody said anything of the sort of what you are stating. Read slower.

I take this to mean that you're saying because of the "corruption" of the us government you're being forced to do "mate" and "do business" in colombia.

My logic tells me that you're under the impression that colombia is less corrupt than the us.

Which part am I misunderstanding?

I"m also dying to know what your "business" plans are.

You're right. I actually read somone elses quote box and mixed the feeling with yours. Sorry.  No I don't think corruption is less in Colombia of course. America is the place that provided me the opportinuties I have now. I'm very proud to be an Amercian, but my point in that quote was directed at Obama and the "sheeple". The new ideals here from the top are anti capitalist, which is why I choose to take my money and invest it somewhere else. It's my way of giving the middle finger to them.
.
As for business plans, it's whatever I can import or export and sell for cash. Cash being the key word..

Let's get some super hot prepagos and start duping gringos into going down to colombia to fall in love with them.  She then gives him some fancy looking luggage to bring back that just happens to have a special care package sewn into the lining.  He makes it through customs no problem.  She then instructs him to hand over the luggage to our homies in the east side and BOOM we're ballin outta control!!!

Question: Is a prepago a prostitue, or an escort you pre-pay to go out with you?

Both.

I disagree. The subject has been beaten to death on this board though. There is a Spanish Word for "prostitute" used in Colombia, and it's "prostituta." When Colombians want to be casual, vulgar or disrespectful they will use the word, "puta." Although the terms prostituta and prepago are used interchangeably by Colombians, the two are generally used exclusive of one another because there's definitely a difference. A "prostituta" is a woman you give money to have sex with you. That's it. That's the extent of the relationship...a transaction. A prepago is more like what we'd call a sugarbaby in the U.S. Your association with them isn't just a one time affair, but a relationship based on the exchange of sex, time and/or companionship for gifts, money, etc. I've ran across prepagos in Colombia that are 100% content with having all their bills paid, maybe tuition and books for la universidad, a cell phone, clothes, etc. Whatever material thing she needs. What I'm trying to say is some of them don't even require cash. They just want to be monetarily taken care of. On the other side, I've met gringos that date prepagos that don't expect sex from them every single time they do a financial favor. The agreement works like a relationship but is obviously based on sex for money.

Some would still call this prostitution and I definitely can't argue with them; but there's also a difference that's worth taking note of in my opinion. When I ask gringos I've met with prepago girlfriends why they won't simply find a girl that dates them for who they are and not what they can give them, most tell me there's no difference. They are under the impression that dating any Colombiana will mean a financial sacrifice on the gringo's part no matter what. Most have told me the only difference with a prepago is she will most likely be much more attractive. I strongly disagree...because what they are perceiving as more attractive is usually only plastic surgeries that they or another sugardaddy has paid for. To each his own though.

You're mostly right benjio.  I still call a prepago a prostitute just for the simple fact that they will have sex with you and they are only doing it because they are explicitly being paid to do so.  Of course there are many, many shades of gray and this topic has been beat to death, brought back to life, and beat back to death again many times.

And about you asking why do gringos pay when they might not have to.  Maybe they'd rather pay for the convenience.  Sometimes guys want several different hotties to be at their beckon call without any strings attached.  Keep in mind they're not only paying them to come, they're also paying them to go away.

You know...when you say it like that, I wish some girls I've dated were prepagos and I could have paid them to leave!!!  ;D

Simon Bolivar has always held a lot of sway in Venezuela and the tricks didn't begin wth Hugo Chavez. There was a Venezuelen leader who ruled under various capacities ( military dictator or president) from 1908 to 1935. His name was something or other Gomez. His government concealed his death for a few days so that it could announce his death on the same day as that of Simon Bolivar.
