Just wanted to see what works best on the Cupid sites.
I went on there a 2-3 years ago and got overloaded with messages and chat requests, I noticed this time that did not happen to the same extent. I assume it's more competitive with more men than women now.
Do you find sending "chat live" requests to more effective than sending emails or profile interests?
My Spanish is ok, so i find it harder to chat live. Anyone have a good proven way that works best?

A vessel you can use to find single women that are interested in and willing to explore the opportunity to meet someone online (not necessarily a foreigner). I don't think there are more men than women on any Latin based Cupid site. I'm assuming that's because men in Latin America generally don't have to use the internet to find attractive, single women. They are everywhere. Women in Latin America on the other hand, usually find it quite difficult to find virtuous and/or "financially stable" men. This is probably why you were initially being flooded with requests to chat and messages.
These days international dating online is less of a novelty and more of a practice for those that can't find what they're looking for in their home towns. Women in countries like Colombia and the Dominican Republic are well aware that the opportunity exist for them to meet foreign men online; and most American Men are aware of this option as well. However, like any other human endeavour, the international online dating game has been corrupted by dishonest and insincere people. Most of us as gringos are well aware that there are plenty of women in Latin America that want to scam us into sending them money. While the women there have learned that there are quite a few gringos online that have no real intentions of ever taking the relationship further than communicating via the internet. They're not going to fly to where the girl lives and they are not going to do anything to bring her to where they live. I think the combination of that and the aforementioned fact that this method of meeting potential mates gets more popular every year is probably the reason things are moving a little slower for you this time around.
I don't know you, what you look like, or what kind of person you are; but I'm assuming if your interest rate was relatively high in the past it shouldn't have changed much. So I'm blaming it on the system!
