Guess he didn't have quite enough money to bribe them. I've heard there are still some honest hero cops in Medellin from the Uribe error that actually thought they could make a difference though. Poor guys....

What a contradictory state of  moral values.. i met the lawyer before, and came by the apt yesterday to pick up some paperwork, the guy was denied bail so i am sure hes gonna have a lot of fun in a colombian jail. maybe you should stop by and pay him a visit, sure they would love to see you

Yea if you're into some sketchy business always figure bribe money  into the equation.  Think of it as an insurance policy in case something goes wrong.  You may or may not need to use it, but it's essential to have.

The US embassy in Colombia does not get involved with child support of children that have a parent in the US. Some foreign countries have an agreement with the US to enforce court ordered child support from other countries but Colombia is not one of them.

Having a lawyer in Colombia will do her absolutely no good....going to the US embassy will do no good as they don't get involved AT ALL!!!


If she can some how manage to hire a lawyer in the state that he lives in to sue him for child support there ...it is possible she could get something if the state he lives in will get involved.....some states do some don't.....I believe California is one that will collect child support and send it overseas.

would not surprise me with california, i have delt with them before, their payment system is a nightmare, even their own personal says its krap and a mess, even when a non custodial parent has a credit or over payment and never missed a payment, they will still garnish wages
