Hello gentleman, how bout we do a meet up in one of the cities for all the plantetlove people and who ever esle. sounds like fun... Has it been tried before?

Mickey did this a while back in Medellin with some of the members of gringos. I couldn't make it because of work. I would be down if my schedule permitted.

On rare occasions. I think I've met around 8 or so PL members in person so far.

I actually would be interested in meeting other gringos that are traveling or living in Colombia. I've been here several months traveling around and I've seen only a handful of foreigners; 2 from US, 2 from England, 3 from Ukraine and 1 each from France, Canada and Australia. The 3 from Ukraine were part of a paragliding tour near Bucaramanga. None of the foreigners I've met in colombia are members of Planet-Love. A couple of them are members of the Colombian Vanilla forum, which is pretty small, only a hundred or so members. Were you thinking about a meet up in Colombia or in United States?

QRCAP2012, were talking of meeting up here, probably in Medellin..not sure yet, just started talking about the idea. It would be mainly for us that live here in Colombia, but of course is welcomed to everyone....where are you now in Colombia? I'm in Villavicencio but am thinking of moving soon to other city........

dt, How long have you lived in Colombia? Do you know if there are a lot of other Americans living here? I tried to google stats but didn't get very much information. One site showed about 15,000 US citizens living here, but that includes Colombians with dual citizenship. Another site says there about 1,500 Americans with temporary ID cards in Colombia. As near as I can tell you are the only one posting on Planet-Love who actually lives in country. That's surprising.
I thought about going to Villavicencio but I checked the climate, it's very hot there, yes? I prefer the mountain air around Manizales-Pereira-Armenia. I'm in the little village of Filandia about 45 minutes up the mountain from Armenia.
The woman in my avatar is from Circasia, about 15 minutes from Armenia. There are thousands of pretty women here, yes?
I'm about 5 hours from Medellin so if you have a meet up there I might be able to attend. When did you have in mind? I can extend my stay here for another two months then I'll have to leave or apply for a different kind of visa.

Have been working on another apto. I am old and slow. I am down for a meet. Three months and it is five years here for me and I have been brainwashed by these Paisas. Why would anyone live outside of Paisaland?

Micki, any park around your place where we can meet up, grill and crack open a few cold ones? I'd really like to make this happen if there are some guys that are serious. I'm in Bogota now but I probably won't be back in Central or Southern Colombia until the end of the year. However, I'm taking some vacation time in September if anyone is down to try for Labor Day Weekend. That only leaves three months to plan though.
