At the same time America’s finest got caught in front of the World, I was entertaining a friend. He brought with him a Prostitute he has been seeing for a year over 5 trips to Medellin. I would venture to say that based on other guys stories  living in Medellin and visiting that if you continue to hunt down barrio girl prostitutes and invite them to stay the night etc sooner or later bad things will happen. My novios brother was robbed two month ago in a taxi with his girlfriend during the day by two motorcycles with a gun and of course the worst was her seeing someone shot and killed in front of her in the park a few months back. Seems to me Colombia is still a powder keg waiting to explode save for the Usa protecting its number one ally in South America, without the aid of the Usa surely the Farc would be winning their war. Instead they are  very much weakened and Colombia is a relatively nice place where 10 years ago an Inferno. Where I live is an Air Force base, I constantly see Us Black Hawks flying overhead. Without the Us providing these expensive machines, weapons, training etc would not be long for Chaos to return. I don’t see aid ending anytime soon. Ron Paul will not be getting elected so business as usual regardless of Republican or Democrat victories and the continual slide of the Usa we remembered once as number 1 in almost everyting, but fading right before our eyes perhaps never to regain the past Glory.

Mudd is 100% correct about the "barrio girls".  Let me make it very clear now,  this is NOT a condemnation of all,  or even the majority of lower estrado girls.  I have said it before,  and it is a thing that is not exclusive to Medellin,  but when you have poorer people going to hang out with the jet set,  not a formula for sweet things to follow.  Mudd probably has a ton of happy stories from the "gringo entourage" that make Parque Gringo the center of their lives here.  I have a niece that lives in Itagui (other than the border with La Estrella, I doubt Itagui has much of anything above estrado 3,  AND Itagui is over 250k people),  she is a very pretty girl,  nice body,  etc..  She is ALWAYS robbing Peter to pay Paul,  utilities, food,  rent,  NEVER two coins to rub together.  She has no problem dressing to the nines and taking herself up to Poblado to party and hang with the "haves".  This is something that some of the "barrio girls" do, they have NO business going to hang in a place that they can't come close to afford,  but it is with the sole intent of finding a BF,  husband,  "sponsor"  that has plata.  It is not just gringos they are after,  any man that has the means to "help" them out.  It is one thing to meet a estrado 2 girl in El Centro,  if you meet one in Poblado,  and she is not there for her job,  you have a problem.  It is what it is and repeats itself in every major city in Colombia.  Buyer Beware!

My main disappointment with internet sites is that when you find a hot one it is much harder to make a connection that it is in person.

just a gues from the guys i know,  about 40 to 50%. this has been a growing issue in the  last 2 years. before, you never heard about guys getting drugged and rolled. now, its a problem. of course some guys will never tell you they got robbed or drugged. too embarrassed to admit it they were idiots, doing something they knew was a bad idea.
