just a gues from the guys i know,  about 40 to 50%. this has been a growing issue in the  last 2 years. before, you never heard about guys getting drugged and rolled. now, its a problem. of course some guys will never tell you they got robbed or drugged. too embarrassed to admit it they were idiots, doing something they knew was a bad idea.

With the guys you know, is the 40% or 50% based on guys who only search for P4P?

nope, they are chasing any girl who will give it up, some are p4p, other are just looking to roll a gringo or get what they can out of them, if they dont get enough, then they get the guy in other ways, usually drug and rob him after a while.


let me put it this way, the very very  few normal guys, not chasing every skirt that walks by and girls who are way too young, dont seem to have these problems as stated above.

I have dated at least a hundred women over the past 15 years in Colombia (all in the 18 to 28 year old range) and never had a problem.


However this it the second time I was offered a threesome in Colombia.....the first time was with a chick that I was dating from Cali that was openly bisexual.


She suggested that we have a threesome.....almost knew her a year before it actually happened because my taste in women and hers were pretty different....then one day she finds one that we were both attracted to.


To make a long story short it was a disaster......must have paid a little too much attention to the new chick because right in the middle of the whole deal.....my girl gets out of bed...slams the bedroom door and locks herself in the guest room....so of course I asked the new chick to leave and then went and slept with my girlfriend in the second bedroom. In hindsight I think you should probably engage in these types of activities with people you don't really care about or know them so well and have so much confidence in the relationship that you're not going to feel easily threatened or insecure.

To those that read this I am NOT implying any thing negative about Colombian ladies I have only met 2 in the USA and they were both really Christian -  But bossy.

Listen from the time I posted the link to the time I took it down was exactly 38 minutes (look at the times on my posts)....I would guess that maybe 10 people may have actually clicked on the link and out of those 10 maybe 4 or 5 could be considered weirdos and the only dangerous one out of the bunch is the one that contacted the woman and exaggerated the situation to make her feel as much pain and humiliation as possible.


Thanks to him she now believes that we all know who she is....and last I heard he is still informing her of everything that is said on this thread so she can still feel like she is being ridiculed and humiliated. We can only speculate why he is continuing to do this....but I guarantee you it has nothing to do with saving her from a dangerous situation whatever that could be.


The only real danger I see is if she continues to communicate with this nut who gets some kick out of using this event to make her feel humiliated.....she just might at some point harm herself.


I do feel terrible about giving this guy the ammo to cause this woman as much mental distress as he has.....I can only hope that she cuts off contact with him so he can't hurt her anymore.

all i have heard that cartagena and medellin had an increase in STD's in the last 3 years due to foreigners, this is from a friend of a friend who works for a govt  health agency in med.  if your not  dating  prepagos, street girls and girls who date multiple gringos, you wont have a problem.

You could just stay away from Medellin....I think that might take care of 90 percent of the problem.


To tell you the truth I think mudd's view of gringo colombiana relationships has been warped by his
close and constant contact with the P4P crowd there.


For instance I have been traveling to Cali for 15 years and never been drugged nor have any of my friends.
I never get any negative feed back from the locals because they think I'm a sex tourist...like some do in Medellin.


Just be careful the company you keep and stay away from mudd's friends and I think you'll be alright. jajaja

I live in Medellin, so do some other sane gringos and Medellin is a different city if you take out Poblado, Parque Lleras, parts of San Javier, etc. I live in Estadio, a solid neighborhood, i rarely see foreigners and the putas that I do see cater to the Colombian army solders at the Cuarto Brigado army post, which admittedly is in Estadio.
 
There isn t that much wrong with Medellin except that some gringos who don t know enough about it make stereotypes. Its a beautiful city with many tree lined barrios, moderate weather extremely well organized with a fantastic overhead metro system and filled with many beautiful women.

But to start, make a list of your criteria for finding a Colombian wife, if you want.
 
Here are criteria that I would suggest as first qualifiers.

children, if any and from how many fathers
educational level attained?
job or business?
neigborhood where she lives? You can ask the board, and someone may know that city or barrio....
with whom does she live?

It's really not that hard.

DON'T:

- Pick up women in known gringo hang-outs like Parque Lleras in Medellin

- Don't pick up women in bars.  The good girls are rarely in bars, and when they go it is typically with a large group of friends.  A woman alone or with one other female friend is likely trouble 

- Don't spend time with women who have no job or no regular hours, but are somehow able to support themselves

DO:

- Look for women who are employed.  This is a positive thing for many reasons, but one is that they will typically be working for 5.5 days per week, and don't have time to be hanging out in bars or surfing the net looking for a gringo sugar daddy.

- Look for a woman that is living at home with her family

- Look for a woman that has demonstrated she can work towards achieving goals, such as education, working, learning a language, whatever.

- You can eliminate a lot of potential problems by staying out of estrato 1 and 2.  Not that there aren't good women there, but it's a lot harder to sort through them and you may need a lot of patience (read some of Alabamaboy's posts)

good advice, i would like to add as some have said before. stay out of parque lleras, areas of poblado, any place gringos hang out or where girls search out foreigners. girls who know gringos or associate with gringos in general, or girls who travel to panama frequently or go on a lot of vacations. somebody has to be paying for it lol.
