Colombiana Murdered By Gringo Husband

Aparently this happened a while back, January 2nd in Florida. A 27 year old colombiana was murdered by her American husband who she'd met on line. He was 49 years old and shot himself after killing her.  According to her mother she complained of his extreme jealousy.

While this is a tragic outcome, a background check will not screen out a mentally unstable, jealous idiot (unless he had a history of abuse or other red flags in his personal history).  I didn't see anything in the article indicating the guy had a checkered history. Did I miss something?

 did i say IMBRA  had something to do with it???  no.     i said " no wonder why IMBRA got passed"  meaning every crazy womens right group will use it to stop  men from marrying a foreign women, just more ammunition for them to use.  it is sad that this lady got killed by some nutjob, but it will eventually look bad for  men marrying a foreign woman.


who knows if the guy had a bad past, abuse history ect, but maybe he did and the girl didnt know, hence maybe in the future, all men marrying a foreign women, regardless if he met her through friends, on vacation, marriage agency or internet, will have to prove a criminal history background before visa is issued, which isnt a bad idea if done correctly.

I read somewhere that the guy was latino (originally from Guatemala or something).  Not sure if that is true though.

I know plenty of american guys that freak me out with the views they have of relationships in general and jealousy issues.


I don't know if they are brainwashed into really believing that there is only one women they can be happy with for the rest of their lives or maybe it is just a byproduct of being used and abused for years by the same old hag.


But I can think of at least two women that are prime candidates for getting hit in the head with an ax if they ever decide to leave their husbands.....I have done my part by trying to talk them both into getting some strange on the side but I can't get either one of them to even look at another woman...let alone make a move.


Some guys take the "till death do us part" thing..... every seriously.

From what I've heard, among certain circles in Guatemala, life is regarded as cheaply as imaginable. While there are peaceful, beautiful people there, many have seen a whole lot of violence, war and hatred and it gets to some of them. If that's not bad enough, it's also become the methamphetamine capital of the planet, as of late.

Don’t marry people you do not know?
Anything can always end badly?
Jealousy leads to stupid behavior and often tragic outcomes?
Cheating is inevitable why bother?
