JimD .... as you may have imagined...my wife had a difficult time acclimating to Northern New England...she likes it now but would be happier in a warmer clime i am sure... she has a beautiful house, a good job, and a good life so she endures the remoteness and the winter...she goes to colombia every 12 months and she is usually ready to come home when the trip is over

and yes i am talking about allcolombiangirls....they have alot of girls and they seem to know each of them pretty well... the office is a little on the rough side but it is a good starting point.

 Jim....when i am offering my guidance/assistance in Cali...yes  i am to some degree offering it "sin animo de lucro" it depends..but i was thinking i would like to charge an negotiable fee depending on the level of assistance needed and effort expended.  What I would really like to do is more or less be a personal guide there for the traveler, personally guide them through the whole Cali experience (the agency, the girls, the city, the lodging, the food, the transportation, the entertainment), be it for 1 day or 7 days..
 in Cali one doesn't really need to go to an agency.... there are other places/ways to meet girls in Cali...i went with an agency on my first trip....but i met my wife through an employee of the hotel where I stayed.

Hotel prices at Hotel Calima Real are $80 a night with a full breakfast in the restaurant with a waiter ...not a continental breakfast...my wife is talking with her sister now and i got that straight from the hotel manager...it is a very good price for what one receives as far as service, class, location,and very nice rooms...anyhow this is THE hotel to use in Cali!

Deseo when I went to Colombia for the first time i went with no spanish, i went with an agency from fla. and they got me there and then were gone. Anyhow thats another story.
My first nite in hotel I met a employee that spoke english and thank goodness for him.. we hit it off and he took me out to a couple bars and introduced me to his friends and we hung out and he told me bout a friend of his i should meet.
Two days later he invited me to a party at the home of his friend. Her whole family was there it was a typical huge family party and it was great fun. i met my wife ,,,she spoke no english and I spoke no espanol . we had my new friend as our translator for the next 3 days .

As far as other ways to meet girls..I had 1 young HOTTIE give me her # on a slip of paper at a supermarket ..we had been eyeing each other... she had waited till her mother went into the next aisle over to slip me her #.   she was too young  and i was already married.
Another time at La 14 one of the girls promoting tooth health products gave me her #..super hot, right age, but I am allready married

what i am getting at is yes ChipiChape is a great place to meet chicks but it isnt the only centro de commercial where one can meet receptive girls...you can find them in many places and that is where some guidance from an knowledgeable gringo can come in very handy .

Stnmasn Walter Mora was a bilingual Colombian known for years to many gringos who came to Cali who offered the exact services you mention above. With your Cali experience and connections I'm surprised you never heard of him. He won't be competition though since he was shot to death in a restaurant a couple of years ago. Being fluent in Spanish you'll want to say "centro comercial" and leave the "de" out. Your hotel sounds good. I've passed it.

   What i am getting at is, if anybody is interested in having an American there in Cali  to help them get their bearings, keep them safe and to help them in their search for a Hottie i will be there in April, again in the fall, and again for Xmas.
 
 I also have access to the resources of the one brick and mortar marriage agency in Cali and I am able to keep them focused on the task of contacting and bringing the girls to you, and making things happen. With me there they know they can't be slacking off! With me at your side things will get done and you will be taken seriously, not taken advantage of!

I just got the OK from the calena about staying at HotelCalimaReal for our first night. Soooooooooooooooooooooo. I'm bookmarking that site I can tell you.    Will contact in them in the spring for reservations when the sap is running. jajajajajajaja

I am able to improve upon this number for a few reasons.. I go there with my brother in law who is a ex taxi driver and current bus driver....his many years as un taxista have made him very savvy and street wise. When there we don't beat around the bush at all with Ricardo. When he sees a solo gringo I imagine he thinks he can  slack off with them


when Ricardo sees My bro in law and I, he knows there is no slacking and he knows it is worth his time to put more effort into our gringos because I/we steer gringos his way...we have many gringos that visit the hotel. we are a very good resource for him  and he wants to keep our relationship good..also I believe he doesnt want us opening our own office so at the moment we have a mutually benefitial understanding.


When we are in his office we also make sure he is showing the clients recent and realistically available profiles. Not the profiles that he has had kicking around for years and are no longer viable.  That is a big one...outdated profiles. 


Also I HATE TO WASTE TIME....I am a go getter..and I know when you are there your time is limited so we need to make the most efficient use of your time. There is no half stepping when I am around!


I have always been a little bit of a slave driver in my line of work here in the US and i bring that to Cali and ACG also. 


so yes I am sure that I make the visits to ACG much more productive.


But like i have said previously there are many other options than just the agencies..we have many of other safe and real options to meet girls there.

I like your post UCB...You are right on the money...  It sounds like we have very similar women...Your trait list is exactly the same as my wifes.   Good for you....mi calana  has also done very well for herself here and I have and am benefitting from her many positive attributes  ...the wifey is a very hard worker..... and she actually is more educated than her builder husband.

I have to edit what i wrote here ...when i wrote that "we have many gringos that visit the hotel" i wrote that wrong...it should have been written "there are many gringos that stay at the hotel"because it isn't my hotel nor do i work for the hotel. Only my sister inlaw works there and has for bout 10 years. So that was misleading and i want to be clear...sorry for any confusion...by the way the hotel was full of gringos during christmas time. man it is fun down there at xmas

Walter Mora owed the wrong people money and refused to pay them. Thus, he was Shot entering a restaurant with his young daughter. They shot him in the face in front of his young daughter to let people know" Never skip out on paying your debts" Sad, but a normal thing in Colombia or NY, Sicily, , well, you get the drift.
