I'd like to make sure that she's covered while we're travelling together. We're gonna be in some very remote places doing outdoorsy stuff and accidents happen. How would i go about this? I put her plane ticket on my amex, but I wasn't able to buy travel insurance when buying my ticket for her because she's not eligible.

thoughts?

Have her do it herself and send her the money.  If she doesn't know how to do it already, she needs to learn how to do things like this.

The title reads "emergency medical for novia..........." so when he says she I would guess he is talking about his novia JimD.

I agree with whitey, she should learn to do this things herself but nothing wrong with helping her along the first time if she is a little clueless about this things like so many of us tend to be, you should at least ask her to try to find out though, it will be a lot easier for her to find one she is eligible for by talking to friends/family that have used it already, sorry I am not of any help, good luck and have fun on your trip!
