soy una mujer de barranquilla - colombia . tengo 23 anos ahora  en el tiempo en que empece a interecturar con hombres de otros paises tenia 20  nunca en mi vida buscando para un amor en otro pais . pero por casualidad de la vida mis amigas y primas . buscaban para uno entonces ellas decirme abrir un perfil en latinamericancupid .. ok entonces me dije a mi misma ok vamos a ver que pasa ..   mientras mi prima abria el perfil en dicha pagina .. decia una foto no tenia foto en ese momento solamente tenia una en la que estaba embarazada de mi primer hijo . estaba muy chistoso pero entonces decido colocarla por un tiempo... me dije a mi misma ningun hombre enviara nada a mi si no cambio la foto pero para sorpresa mia jajaja tenia muchos ! mensajes jajaja y despues de hablar con hombres en casi todo el mundo nunca senti  una gran coneccion ...es la razon nunca quise ellos viajar a conocerme . y no se por que tenia muchos hombres enviarme mensajes si mi foto de perfil estaba muy peculiar entonces un dia mientras entre de rapidez a la pagina me llamo la atencion un moreno hombre de las bahamas . entonces le envie un corazon ! el me respondio rapidamente .y empezamos una historia de amor desde ese dia ! el y yo nos poniamos citas ! y yo me esmeraba por cumplirlas al fin en dos meses el me dijo voy a colombia a conocerte . estaba asustada pero por primera vez queria conocer a alguien en linea . recuerdo el viajo el 11 de marzo y contrato los servicios de  una traductora maria es su nombre esos dias junto a estuvieron placenteros , todo un caballero , nunca me interezaba que el me daba , queria que me diera todo el corazon asi como yo se lo daba a el cada segundo ! asi pasaron los anos y ahora estamos casados y tenemos una nina juntos ! y estoy viviendo en las bahamas y todavia sigue mi cuento de hadas !

I was scared but first wanted to meet someone online. I remember the trip on March 11 and contracted the services of a translator Maria is his name these days with were pleasant, a gentleman, I never interezaba that gave me, I wanted to give me the whole heart as I gave it to the every second! so the years passed and now we are married and have a little girl together! and I'm living in the Bahamas and still follow my fairy tale!

No hay ningun problema por este lado, yo me prefiero escribir en espanol...yo nunca pierdo la oportunidad de practicar. Todos de nosotros debemos hablar en español con mayor frecuencia en este sitio. Tal vez el foro se pareceria mas interesante para latinas si lo hiciéramos...y nos faltan mas opiniones de mujeres por aca, verdad IV?!! Latina1988, yo tambien le queria preguntar sobre cual parte de Armenia es usted. Yo conozco a mucha gente alli y dependiendo el barrio, estoy seguro que quizas tenemos amigos en comun alli. Le cuento que nos encantaria saber tus pensamientos sobre las mujeres en Barranquilla, porque la mejor agencia de Colombia esta alli y hay muchos hombres del foro con planes de ir pronto.

What part of Armenia are you from? I live nearby and visit every few weeks. Maybe we know some of the same people. I hang out at the University of Quindio.
I like Barranquilla, too. I lived there a while. What part of the city do your folks live?

ok .. yo vivo en el barrio villa carolina
es norte cerca del centro comercial buenavista . cerca de la 80 ( donde estan las disco y restaurantes )
para mi la mujer barranquilla es unica es una mujer que se esmera por su familia , trabajadora ,.. que le gusta el amor del bueno .. que no le gusta mentir que su familia es lo mas importante , le gusta la alegria , la buena comida la limpieza ( ya que desde pequenas nuestras queridas madres nos ensenan eso ) .. jajaja recuerdo que mi mami dice "puedo ser costena y limpia que cachaca sucia  " cachaco esta una palabra que usan costenos para edentificar las personas de otra ciudades .. ok sigamos yo prefiero barranquilla . por que hay menos prepagos .. esta esta una ventaja
y segun mi pasado presidente dijo en un discurso de estado que barranquilla es la unica ciudada en colombia con la taza escolar mas alta  ! eso esta grandioso ! personas estudiando mas ! y tengo primas y amigas en las agencias barranquilleras ! y ellas esta muy sinceras .. animo a todos los chiscos conocer barranquilla
ahh y no puedo dejar de mencionar que en mi pasado viaje a mi barranquilla del alma .. muchos gringos alli en mi vuelo .. ellos emocionados .. yo hablando con ellos con mi pobre ingles .. ayudo a uno de ellos encontrar una amiga .. y el enamorado .. ha viajado dos veces mas ! woo pronto barranquilla sera gringilandia !! jajajaaj

Aunque Benjio tiene razon y no estaria nada mal que se hablara mas español en este foro, hay que tener en cuenta que muchos no tienen el suficiente conocimiento en el idioma para entender, asi que por respeto a ellos (y por tu propio bien para que practiques ingles!) de ahora en adelante traducire cuando te escriba en español.


Tengo curiosidad, como encontraste este foro y que opina tu marido sobre esto? su relacion avanzo lento o rapido? yo sigo solterita y no hay agencias en mi pais.

Eventhough Benjio is right and it wouldn't be bad at all to speak more spanish in this forum, we have to take into account that many do not have enough knowledge in the language to understand us, so out of respect to them (and your own good so you can practice english) from now on I will translate when I write to you in spanish.

I am curious, how did you found this forum and what does your husband thinks about this? did your relationship advanced slow or fast? I am still single and there are no agencies in my country.

Tienes toda la razon en el mundo. Cada vez que viajo para Barranquilla hay más gringos en el avión que tengan intenciones de conocer chicas. Que bueno para las barranquilleras porque ellas tienen la oportunidad de averiguar que hay buenos hombres en este mundo que no son tan machismos y saben como tratar a una mujer. Pero por el otro lado hay mas competencia para mi!!!  Y a ti que te parecen los Colombianos. La opinión popular en este foro es que generalmente son los hombres infieles que siempre tienen muchas novias, pero he conocido a algunos que son muy buenos esposos y padres...a partir de mi experiencia, depende de la región de Colombia.

 
He hablado muchisimo del Barrio Villa Carolina en este foro porque hay gente que piensa que Barranquilla como una ciudad es una mierda. Aun yo mismo tengo que admitir que la mayor parte de la ciudad es desorganizada. Aun Villa Carolina es un barrio hermosoooooooooo. Especialmente la parte mas acerca de Buena Vista donde se estan construiendo muchos nuevos apartamentos. Yo vivia en Palmeras de Andalucia en Villa Carolina por tres meses el año pasado y me encanto.  Yo solí correr por el barrio casi todas las mananas y yo nunca me senti en peligro o nada asi. Hay muy poca gente que se ha dado cuenta que la ciudad tiene muchos tesoros escondidos. Uno solamente tenga que explorar, no?
