Introducing myself

    Hi everyone,

     I retired this year from working as a contractor.I've worked in a few countries but spent alot of time in Colombia. I'm in my late 50's and I am ready to find a woman to settle down with. I was married before but it didn't work out mostly because I was on the road alot. I didn't expect a woman to put up with me being gone for alot of the time so I never got married again.Now that I am not on the road anymore I am going to look for a Colombian woman.I got to know alot about them while I was there so hopefully I can add to the forum as well as learn. I don't know much about what is involved with bringing a woman here so I know I will learn alot.

    I guess that is all for now.My name is Big Al but you can call me Big Al.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I have been reading up some and learning alot. I don't see myself using the internet or an agency to meet women. After living and working alot in Colombia I'm just gonna go there and play it by ear. I speak good spanish and I know many people there. The visa process is where I have been learning. Someone sent me a link I'm gonna check out. Thanks.

Big Al, ever considered moving to Latin America? You're retired, and wife hunting is a lot more efficient (and fun) when you're living in the place you're dating.  8)

I thought alot about moving to Colombia but even though I am retired I still have interests here in the US. I know alot of people in Colombia and still have many contacts there so it's no problem for me to hop on a plane and head down there for a month or two.
