Well, I have a business partner whom I have trained to a point that he can do a lot on his own, and by moving to Medellin, I mean more like getting a place in Medellin and going back and forth between there and Miami.

The issue is to find a legit source of income in Medellin.  I have looked at some business ideas, but doing a business in Colombia is not as straightforward as in the US, to put it mildly.  Plus there are cultural issues why some business that thrive in the US would not be in demand there.  So I am looking at a couple of different options.  We will see  :) .

Well hopefully you can rely on the business partner.  Sometimes good businesses go bad when the man who has to care about it most is absentee!  Good luck though, living in Colombia at your age and being single would be quite a bit of fun!

I am back in the States right now. Spent 2 more full days in Bogota and was at the mall again, all over the place in the area near the DAS office, Banks, airport. And again I can honestly say that I did not see more than a handful of attractive women in BOG during that time.

BTW we have only been back to the States for a couple days but everything going 100% perfect so far with the relationship, kids, household, everything.

Given a choice, I would take my barranquillera and move to Medellin.
I really like my barranquillera but the thought of living in BAQ there with her would knock me for a loop. The heat and constant high humidity must remove years from a persons lifetime. And I have precious little of those years left.
Now if I had a choice I would ask a barrqnquillera to be my wife and we would move to Pereira and go bicycling a lot. Medellin seems a bit too big to live in. After all there it is not too hot during the day and not too cold at night. I could live with that but a barranquillera? Maybe not.   :-\

Well, Medellin does get hot during the day.  Not anything like the coast, but it does get let's say very warm.  And nights are usually chilly.  However, Medellin is not TOO cold or TOO hot.
