Gringo Condemned to 9 Years in Prison

It was announced today that an American, Ralph Paldino has been sentenced to 9 years in prison by the Colombian Supreme Court for child pornagraphy. He also has to pay a fine of $122,000.00 and is to be expelled from Colombia upon complition of his sentence. Just a reminder. check those cedulas before you start snapping pictures!

I agree 100%!  When I was in Thailand I observed that myself.  And it was quite common to see an old fat European-looking dude walking around with a tiny pre-teen looking Thai girl.

I can see a 16/17 year truly fooling a guy, and maybe even having a fake ID, so I could find forgiveness in such a situation. 


It doesn't say how old these gals were that the guy was dealing with, but they were probably much younger for the authorities to expend their resources on this Ralph guy.   I find no forgiveness for taking advantage of very young gals.  I'd really like to know what the ages were of these gals he was using, to form a better conclusion.
