Columbian Cupid
« on: August 17, 2011, 07:30:28 PM »
Gentlemen:  Do not go to Columbia if you want a wife and decide to cheat on her!  Just got back from another trip myself.  I know Hispanic women, I know Columbian women.  That is why I am going to marry Columbian.  Cheating is not in my blood, but my ex taught me the ques to recognize!  I met my fiance on Columbian Cupid.  I have been on there for a few years.  Never once did I have a woman from Columbia ask me for money.  I did have a few that said "I LOVE YOU" in the 2nd or 3rd letter.  That's a red flag gents!  Also, do not misunderstand a Columbian woman if she refers to you as "corazon or bebe" as a message they are in love with you.  They are affectionate terms, not a commitment.  Took my fiance and I to say the three words after 4 months of communication.  Columbian women command respect, I repeat: command respect.  If you respect her, she will fall in love with you.  Good luck finding the right lady from Columbia.

Well kdb, this is your 1st post so I am going to bust your chops a little. This really the only time I bust peoples chops on here when they come out with their 1st post that is flawed in some way or if someone is a sex tourist or sex trader. Don't take offense.

First, if you knew Colombia well, you would not spell it Columbia.

Second, you would distinguish between te amo and te quiero, if you knew Colombianas well.

Third, you would know that te quiero is a common term that translates to I love you in English and that Colombianas use this to say to their friends for example. Colombianas use te amo as a stronger word to express a stronger, deeper love. This is what my Colombiana explained to me. I am sure one of the vets will correct me if I am wrong.

Anyways, just bustin your chops at your gunz blazing intro post which I find to be flawed. I would have suggested you introduced yourself in the intro section.

Feel free to bust my chops kdb.

If you are real, congrats on your engagement.  8)
So let mercy come and wash away, what I've done

OK, so you have made at least two trips to Colombia.  You have a Colombian fiance who you have been communicating with for several months. You are offering advice on relationships with colombianas. But you don't know how to spell the name of the country?

Well you are on the wrong site.  This is Latin section.  Your posting has nothing to do with Latin women !!

I know, I know - If we want to know anything at all about Columbia and Columbian women, just ask. Right?  Where have we heard that before?

You would be much better received if you introduced yourself first before doling out advice. We have members who have made many trips to Colombia, and more who live there currently, and many who have married successfully, and a few unsuccessfully to Latin Women. Still more of us have made dozens, even hundreds trips to many different places in Latin America, both to date and for other purposes, over many decades. Telling us that you've made a couple of trips and have a girlfriend, while certainly raises you far above the masses, doesn't qualify you as any kind of maven around here.

So tell us about yourself and your experiences.

What I want to know is if anyone knows how to pronounce the capital of Florida.

Is the capital pronounced (Miami) 'MY--Amee' or 'MEE Amee'? ::)
Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!
