US Military/"Seal Team Six" condolences
« on: August 07, 2011, 02:26:07 AM »
Late fri night/early sat morning(5-6 aug 11')we lost approx 25 special forces soldiers from the famed "seal team six" in a chinook chopper crash in afghanistan while they were on their way to backup another seal team in a firefight. My sincere condolences go out to them, the other military members on that chopper(incl a military working dog(mwd)with seal team six), and all the families who just lost a son, a father and a husband. As a military veteren it saddens me everyday when we lose a soldier in these 2 wars we are in.
From experience I will tell you they died doing what they loved, serving our country to make sure america is always free. I know I was willing to die when I served,  to protect my country and its great people. As a military member, you don't always believe in the things the president asks you to do, but you throw your opinions to the side when he asks you to defend our country. We are a country with many things that aren't perfect, but we are a country that is free.
Pls take a moment to remember all our soldiers everywhere, active duty and all our
veterens. While we  here on this forum are traveling, trying to find a wife in other parts
of this world, we have our military sacrificing their lives.  Again my condolences to seal team six and all our military. Your sacraficies are not forgotten!!!!
By the way...seal's are the baddest/smartest soldiers I ever saw/met. I worked with a few
while I was in, most of them have 1/2 college degree"s, are proficient in 2 or 3 languages, have the stamina of marathon runners, fearlessness of a loin and are just plain badass. One seal member I remember, was about 6'7", and arms that looked like they belonged on arnold schwarzenegger in his bodybuilding days. In the few conversations i had with him, I thought I was talking to a college
professor. They are the best at what they do

What a tragedy for those families. I saw one of them on TV this morning, he had a small child, so sad.

The SEALs are the baddest on the planet, the only ones that can compete IMO are the IDF, Israel Defense Forces, the Israelis are bad-ass too, their civilian male population are bad-ass too, can dawn their battle-gear at the call of their govt and go to war.
So let mercy come and wash away, what I've done

Thank you sir.. Ur navy, so I'm sure the affect of losing seals is even more closer to your heart than even us vets from other branchs. May they become gods "special forces" now.
