i think it would get really old after a while
i would rather be with a woman  that i can be myself around. in my case that turned out to be a lady from the Philippines but I'm sure there are some good ladies in L.A.

My ex from BAQ was super dark morena, almost "negra", and the thing that killed it for us was her Oprah/Beyonce-like attitude. So just because you are going to SA does not guarantee you will completely avoid that kind of thing. The really hot Black/dark morena girls that I met there had a bit too much attitude for me, especially if they were from Estratos 5 or 6 background.

Brett, good read. Although not at all positive in terms of prospects for black women, it puts a positive spin on why what I perceive to be a very small percentage of them still remain single. This article does not discuss the core of what their fundamental problem is. I previously wrote about some of my thoughts on black women from the poorer side of the social spectrum. I've found that the more well off black women, that grew up with both parents, and had the opportunity to achieve advancement in education and career, are exponentially worse than the others. The uneducated, simple girls just have a bad attitude and want to control everything. The successful, professional type are absolutely untouchable. Most of them expect a man to behave like their puppy dogs, even though we are simulteneously expected to financially earn equal or even more than them. If this article is subliminally suggesting that successful, educated black women could find those puppy dogs amongst men of other races, maybe it's good advice.
 
Successful black men being interested in women of other races has very little to do with what we prefer. It's the only option we have left after realizing that maintaining a loving, fruitful relationship with most black women is hopeless.

I have always been attracted to morenas or darker skin tones, but damn man, when I worked in Long Beach, CA for awhile, I was working with a ton of black women who really had a super big chip on their shoulders....alllllll of them. I would rather date a pit bull than one of them. And it would probably have been safer also.

I did meet some really sweetheart darker ladies, most of them from Jamaican backgrounds, when I lived in FL. They were curvy, beautiful, and had really nice personalities for the most part.
