Help! Looking for reputable resources...

I’m looking for two or three reputable introduction agencies in Columbia or Costa Rica that I can contact. I’m also hoping to get recommendations for a couple online sites (like Columbian Cupid).
As for me, I’ll save you the long story and give you the short one as it seems to be the same as many others who are looking for the right woman. I've been happily single my entire life with intentions to marry in my forties. I’m in my forties. If I find someone here in the U.S. - great! However my focus is to find a Latin girl for reasons mentioned by many others. I've been to Costa Rica a few times; the first two trips were for vacation. The last (this past month), I went with my eyes open. I met with an agency (Spanish Eyes) and although I didn't commit to anything they seemed nice and genuine. After returning from my trip, I decided to do more research. And as most of you already know the amount of information regarding agencies, etc. is overwhelming. Probably the best resource I’ve found is this site.
There are a lot of knowledgeable people on these boards and it seems Columbia is first on the list with many - so I find myself leaning in that direction. My ideal situation would be to work with an agency that has a more personal approach. I have my own business so my time is limited and can only spare 4-5 days at a time (maybe every 6-8 weeks) to travel. I may end up going on a tour but that wouldn't be my first choice. Any suggestions or advice is immensely appreciated as I feel a lil lost.

Hey Mike, you are going to get the you didn't spell Colombia right correction, so thought I would mention that to you, guess I just gave you that correction  . All of my friends who know nothing about Colombia spell it Columbia, like Columbia, SC which they know.


I am a client of Latin Wife in BAQ, satisfied, but mileage will vary. Several guys on the board met their wives through Latin Wife.

First piece of advice - forget about Costa Rica!  The best looking women there are from Colombia anyway ...

Have a read through the archives here ... plenty of great information, trip reports to agencies, etc.  Gotta warn you ... once you start reading, it can be pretty addictive ... you'll be up all night ...

It's also spelled Columbia in Maryland, so a pattern forms....I wonder why Colombia, the country, doesn't spell its name right . Welcome Aboard Mike!

Yes... ColOmbia! sorry bout that. And sorry for the delayed reply - was away on biz. Latin Wife, is that bka "Jamie's agency?" If so i'm glad as it is one of the agencies I saved as "promising." Other than that I saw all of the agencies listed on this site plus another 10 or so from just googling. so far I'm just trying to sort thru all of them and figure out which would be the best fit for me. plus i think i'm going to give Latin and/or Colombian Cupid a try. I just hope i'm not being unrealistic as far as how much time i can spend away on trips.

Whiteys right....forget about Costs Rica..


4 to 5 days every 6 to 8 weeks.....hmmmmm, not impossible,,,but  that s a push. Not enough time to narrow down on the first trip..unless you get lucky...and so you are going to have to be really good at communicating in the intervals and hope you find a serious girl who will hang in wth you and can communicate.....


or you re going to repeat the first trip over and over.


But you want personal service, that elimnates all the correspondence addresses agencies, you re talking about a personal intro agency. Ive written a lot about Colombian intro agencies....been a customer and also brielfly worked for one.


If I can give some advice....look at the sites, pick a bunch of profiles and photos that attract you. And then ask yourself WHY do those particular women attract you...hopefully, its for something more then they are beautiful. Maybe you ll isolate something in their profiles. If you can figure out what attracts you.....you may be able to narrow your choice to a particular cty or region in Colombia where there are a lot of those women.

Again thanks for all the input, advise and encouragement. I realize my limited time is an issue but at the same time I don't feel rushed and believe this is worth pursuing. And "going to repeat the first trip over and over" is a point well taken and something to be conscious of. If you guys don't mind, I'll keep ya posted.
