I submitted a passport application for my infant son today and while I was at the acceptance facility I noticed that this Saturday, April 9th is Passport Day in the USA 2011. This is the 1 day a year that passport agencies & acceptance facilities are open on a Saturday and no reservations are needed for the agencies. So if any of you guys who have never had a passport before and do not want to take time off from work to submit your application, this Saturday is the day to do it.
I didn't get my first passport until I was 13 years old but my 6 week old son should be getting his in several weeks. But at least my first passport didn't cost nearly as much as his did.
