Second Battle
Wives of servicemembers who face deportation from the U.S.
First case, a young Marine stationed in Okinawa falls in love with an Asian woman. She comes to America while her B/F deploys to the Sandbox. Shortly after he deploys, she discovers she's pregnant. They decide to marry via a proxy marriage, he in Iraq and she in America. Perfectly legal.
Couple of months later, and he leaves this World. She delivers a baby Boy, but now she's in big trouble. Because the marriage was never consummated AFTER MARRIAGE, she's ineligible to stay in America, and is almost certainly going to be deported.
I take a tough stand on illegal immigration, especially living in a Sanctuary State. These are difficult times for many (most?) communities, and just about everyone gets to feel the pain.
But sometimes, I just feel like...DAMN.
"If the law supposes that,'said Mr Bumble...'the law is a ass, a idiot."
