Yes, lately dead people have been getting little respect around here......
Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!

Disbenifit?

No, actually it is "disbenefit."

It is further demonstration of what Steve living in Dallas is all about. He could not care less about Pete. It is all about Steve and his addled worldview.

He is so lost in his narcissistic fantasyland that the REAL issue is completely and totally lost on him. He just does not get it - and lacks the cognitive capacity to ever get it.

It matters not a twit whether Pete was upset with me and/or PL. That is entirely immaterial. At that particular point in time there were a lot of people upset with me and PL, as they were just coming to realize that I was serious about ridding PL of the trash that had collected here for some time. In that process there were some who got caught up in it - and there were allegiances that had been formed and were difficult to break free. Some of those ancient allegiances remain today - to the disbenefit of a few who are still banned from PL unfortunately. And BTW, that door is not closed. It is never closed to someone who wishes to participate constructively here.

Here is a post from Ray circa May 2006 describing the initial 'dust-up' that resulted in Steve getting his e-feelings hurt the first time -- http://www.planet-love.com/forum/index.php?topic=527.msg3851#msg3851. Unfortunately, the graphics Ray used to illustrate his points are outdated, but the message is still there, and it provides some important context.

At the time of Pete's death in August of 2006, he was the most prolific member of Planet-Love in terms of post count. There is no doubt he made a large and positive contribution to the lives of many - witness the many comments made in honor of Pete's life. To NOT offer a Tribute to someone who was so impactful would have been, IMO, disrespectful of an important member of the community here.

I wonder . . . would Steve from Dallas *REALLY* feel good - I mean, good down deep - where he 'lives' - if we were to remove that Tribute to Pete E? If that would make him feel good - doesn't it make you wonder what 'kind' of person Steve of Dallas is? And if, OTOH, his demand for the removal was not about making HIM (Steve) feel good - then what were his motives for making the demand? Merely to create rancor? Possibly - but at the expense of a deceased individual he calls his "friend"?!? Who - what 'kind' of person would do that?!?

No - this is the desperate act of a pathetic individual who cannot find anything to use for leverage other than his warped projection for a REAL man who can no longer speak for himself. Who the hell does Steve of Dallas think he is to claim to be able to speak for Pete Eiguren?!? True friends of Pete should be incensed about the shameless use of their friend's good name by some callous shallow narcissistic caitiff. Everyone should be aware of the 'kind' of person Steve from Dallas REALLY is - and has now demonstrated in tangible irrevocable form.

Thank you for the spelling correction. I posted the question because I couldn´t find the word or it´s meaning in the dictionary but maybe it´s in an older edition than the one I have.

Probably not. It is much more likely that you just didn't look very deeply.
