steveofdallas has REALLY lost perspective, regarding Pete E.
« on: November 03, 2010, 09:24:21 PM »
I just noticed a despicable post made by steveofdallas, DEMANDING that the memorial for Pete E. be taken down off this forum.

Talk about someone who has totally lost their perspective - to suggest that a post in honor of a deceased prolific member of PL should be removed because his e-feelings are injured is so incredibly petty it should offend anyone who reads it and speaks to how devastated he has become.

It is truly despicable that dunderhead steve would think he should speak for Pete E.  I stayed at Pete E's. place in Cali and exchanged Emails with him quite frequently,  and am confident that if Pete E. were alive he would be posting on Planet-Love.

Everybody liked Pete. I never met him in person, but followed his postings and exchanged a few emails with him. That's a lot of damned nerve to demand this forum remove his memorial.

Don't take the bait Mike, he's just stirring the pot.  FT, I missed your post in the tribute thread.

FT, I missed your post in the tribute thread.
I remember I chose not to make a post here, because it seemed redundant at the time.

Quote
he's just stirring the pot

Of course I’m stirring the pot, but here is the Exact quote I am referring to in case you think it just came up out of thin air.  I'm sure the dunderhead hopes his post gets buried and disappears.
“PS: Dan, why don't you remove your homage to my late friend Pete E? He hated PL and what you turned it into, and I've got his posts here to prove it.”

:  In DS’s eagerness to make himself look smaller and smaller, he has attempted to turn his own deceased friend into an issue unnecessarily and falsely. I remember PeteE said towards the end he was going to come back to PL, which is an item the dunderhead from dallas conveniently omits in his continuing rewrite of history.

Not sure what brought that out of steveofdallas, but that's without a doubt uncalled for and I would never disrespect the passing of someone so helpful and influencial to this board as Pete E and neither should anyone else here. If Dan feels it's time to pull anything down it's his call, but I hope the tribute to Pete stays.

Bad move steve...

Steve of Dallas is desperate that's all.He knows that he isn't going to accept Dan's challenge because it would mean leaving the comfort of his own fantasy world to face reality, where he might just be proven wrong. That would be a huge blow to a fragile ego.It is much safer for someone like that to remain in his safe place and hurl spit balls at the rest of the world.

Pete was one of the kindest and nicest men you would have ever met. I stayed with him several times, took him to Cartagena with me to party and we both went to Medellin together for the first time. I introduced him to his wonderful girlfriend so for Doushebag Steve to say something like that, well, let's just say I expect he had it coming to him when his ex Cali wife beat him up and stole from him, He deserved it, DOUSEHBAG STEVE !

Looks like dunderhead steve really has his panties in a knot now that he realizes what an error it was to try to speak for the deceased.    Very disrespectful of steve to drag PeteE’s name up, you would think he would quickly apologize and put it to rest, but instead he desperately chooses to double down and continue to ascribe negativity to PeteE.  I wonder why dunderhead steve, thinks he has the authority to speak for what Pete E. would have wanted now and forever link him to such negativity?   I doubt PeteE would appreciate his named tossed around and used in a flame several years after his death, but it is more important to the misguided dunderhead steve to try anything to save his sinking site and floored reputation, than to show respect to the deceased among us.

It shows what kind of man or wimp steve really is, Dan invited Steve here to the court but steve refused? why? Because he cannot control the process and ban anyone who does not kiss his behind and agree with him no matter what he says. Most of us see him for what he really is now, I like the one statement he said to Fathertime " I delisted you from my facebook too" Oh my god the wimp gets mad so he take all his toys home with him like a little kid!

Steve we all know you read the post here, why don't you want to come to P-L court? Could it be except for a couple of yes men you have nothing to back your crying up?

KB,

Apparently Steve from Dallas is having a conniption now that his execrable ethos is made obvious to all.

Quote from: Pathetic Steve
PS: Dan, why don't you remove your homage to my late friend Pete E? He hated PL and what you turned it into, and I've got his posts here to prove it.

Consider for a moment what kind of wretched soul would write, or even consider writing, something like that?!?

At last count the Tribute to Pete E (http://www.planet-love.com/forum/index.php?topic=904.0) has 4 pages of responses and nearly 50 posts from PL members who wanted to express their appreciation for contributions Pete made to their lives.

Dallas-based Steve would have us remove that tribute and those heart-felt responses because Dallas-based Steve has his itty-bitty e-feelings hurt. Too bad. Not gonna happen.

The suggestion demand by Steve from Dallas to remove the Tribute to Pete E is nothing more than a cry for attention from an angry, petty, piteous wretch of a soul who is seeking attention any way he can. His is the most loathsome act of a person who has lost all rational perspective (if he ever had any).

To say it/he is pathetic does not even begin to capture the depths at which Steve in Dallas makes his home.

It remains utterly shocking that dunderhead steve would continue to drag PeteE into his posts.

He may profess he had a friendship with PeteE but he shows PeteE's memory no respect by continuing to tie him to something so negative as pulling down his tribute After dunderhead steve was rightfully called out, his best decision would have been to concede the error and move on, rather than continue to act like an angry child and continue to 'speak for' PeteE, 4 years after his death.  It is ridiculous and  provides evidence of his warped state of mind.  It is obvious why his ex-wives had absolutely no respect for him, and why he continues to be the object of scorn.

Yeah, demanding that the tribute be taken down definitely shows DS is lacking respect of Pete E. and dodging the challenge to come back to debate shows a lack of balls!

It is further demonstration of what Steve living in Dallas is all about. He could not care less about Pete. It is all about Steve and his addled worldview.

He is so lost in his narcissistic fantasyland that the REAL issue is completely and totally lost on him. He just does not get it - and lacks the cognitive capacity to ever get it.

It matters not a twit whether Pete was upset with me and/or PL. That is entirely immaterial. At that particular point in time there were a lot of people upset with me and PL, as they were just coming to realize that I was serious about ridding PL of the trash that had collected here for some time. In that process there were some who got caught up in it - and there were allegiances that had been formed and were difficult to break free. Some of those ancient allegiances remain today - to the disbenefit of a few who are still banned from PL unfortunately. And BTW, that door is not closed. It is never closed to someone who wishes to participate constructively here.

Here is a post from Ray circa May 2006 describing the initial 'dust-up' that resulted in Steve getting his e-feelings hurt the first time -- http://www.planet-love.com/forum/index.php?topic=527.msg3851#msg3851. Unfortunately, the graphics Ray used to illustrate his points are outdated, but the message is still there, and it provides some important context.

At the time of Pete's death in August of 2006, he was the most prolific member of Planet-Love in terms of post count. There is no doubt he made a large and positive contribution to the lives of many - witness the many comments made in honor of Pete's life. To NOT offer a Tribute to someone who was so impactful would have been, IMO, disrespectful of an important member of the community here.

I wonder . . . would Steve from Dallas *REALLY* feel good - I mean, good down deep - where he 'lives' - if we were to remove that Tribute to Pete E? If that would make him feel good - doesn't it make you wonder what 'kind' of person Steve of Dallas is? And if, OTOH, his demand for the removal was not about making HIM (Steve) feel good - then what were his motives for making the demand? Merely to create rancor? Possibly - but at the expense of a deceased individual he calls his "friend"?!? Who - what 'kind' of person would do that?!?

No - this is the desperate act of a pathetic individual who cannot find anything to use for leverage other than his warped projection for a REAL man who can no longer speak for himself. Who the hell does Steve of Dallas think he is to claim to be able to speak for Pete Eiguren?!? True friends of Pete should be incensed about the shameless use of their friend's good name by some callous shallow narcissistic caitiff. Everyone should be aware of the 'kind' of person Steve from Dallas REALLY is - and has now demonstrated in tangible irrevocable form.

- Dan

Stictly to save face, Dunderhead steve wants to pretend the issue is what PeteE posted, he posted many things that were conflicted.  The REAL ISSUE is ds has  become so desperate that he would try to soil what is a very nice tribute to PeteE.

He acts like he knows what PeteE would have been saying/doing a full 4 years after his death, he even is saying he wants to debate about it which is just plain looney.  Even his ardent supporters won't back him on this point, despite his desperate pleas and his frantic attempts at misdirection.

I got to chuckle, I see dunderhead steve is furiously crying that I'm making him look bad on purpose.  Well he is the one who brought up PeteE and tried to insert him in a modern day argument. I'm just the messenger, he should be angry at himself!  Dunderhead steve probably has an argument with his parakeet and then blames and kicks the dog.

Here, let me try to put the graphics back in…

Quote from: Dan

can someone provide me the abridged version of what led "Steve" or "DS" or ?? to start WLC?

I think Dallas Steve is still registered here, so he would be the best one to answer your question. Otherwise, according to my recollection, here is the gist of what happened, with visual aids:

Steve's good buddy Burbuja was going out of his way to stir up trouble on P-L...

Burbuja baited a guy named Troy into posting on the Asian Forum after Patrick had threatened to ban him if he posted over there again...

This got Troy banned... and Patrick also gave Burbuja the boot...

After a short period, Patrick reinstated him but Burbuja repeatedly went out of his way to insult Patrick, trying to goad him into a fight...

Because Burbuja had so skillfully baited Troy into getting banned, I had nicknamed him "The Master Baiter". I guess he liked the name, because Burbuja requested that his registered name be changed to "The Master Baiter". Patrick obliged him by changing his handle to "Masterbator"... . Burbuja wouldn't post anymore under his new handle, so Steve started a new forum where Burbuja could post without reprisals from the forum owner…

The moral of this story:

If my memory is faulty on this subject, I'm sure someone will correct me.

Hey FT,

I know you are having fun with DS, which is fine with me. But I think involving a guy who has already passed on in a silly flame war is not too cool.

My advice to everyone on PL is to let poor old Pete rest in peace. If they want to rant about him on the other forum, I would simply ignore it and let them make themselves look silly.

I happen to agree, that is why I have refrained from continuing to post today on this thread/topic, the point was made and brought to light, no need to pound the topic any further.
