Game Learning System
« on: October 20, 2010, 11:39:25 AM »
I just want to throw some info out there especially for those with young ones.

Earlier in the year, I gave Ahya the Leapster2 & Didj gaming/learning systems along with some of the games ( X-men, Nancy Drew, Star Wars, Tinkerbell, Foster's Home, Dora The Explorer, SpongeBob, the Disney ones, etc,).

Today, I was told that the 2 young nieces who uses the system grades (& learning) have gone way up. The oldest one, her math skill is now about 4 grades above what she  "suppose" to be at. Also their learning in other subjects have also gone up too. They have been using the system since February of this year.

They are playing with the "games" just about everyday - it is a game but in reality a learning tool.

For all those with young ones, this is something to look into.
If we were all forced to wear a warning label, what would yours say?

That's terrific! Glad to hear it.  :)
Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

It's not just Legos anymore! (In Swedish, 'Lego' means 'play well')

Leap Frog is good and most of the VTech stuff is good and built to last, as well.

There's more computer power in the orginal Nintendo Gameboy than was in the entire Apollo moon rocket that sent people onto the moon. (and brought them back too!)
Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!
