So 3 more stinking Al-Qaeda terrorist jihadist leaders get a missile shot up their ass and have their stinking bodies blown all over the desert, and who do you think whines and cries about it?

The ACLU and Congressman Ron Paul.

Vote for Ron Paul and and save the lives of these wothless terrorists...

Well I'm coming around to the idea that using these drones has some serious advantages.  I don't want us to invade countries if we can take out the bad guys with a missile or two.
There is an argument being made that our govt is out assassinating people, without proper evidence.
If indeed we can prove that these guys are planning to engage in terrorism it is a good idea to kill them. That requires trust in our govt.  I've lost my trust a while ago, so it is a tough call.

There is talk that this occupation movement is going to develop into a far left wing "Tea Party" movement.  If it does turn in that direction, I wonder if this is the group that will start the "Riots in the streets" if indeed Obozo gets usurped in the 2012 election.

Although many members of the movement seems to be representing things I don't really support, I'd like to see it grow some more.  I'm very curious to see how it develops!

If this is the same bunch I saw being interviewed while they were protesting on Wall Street I would have to say they are a clueless bunch. They probably won't last a year.

I was really hoping this group was going to be something other than idealistic college fools and hippies. I wanted it to be something I could get behind!

Something is to be said for changing our system so the damn corporations and unions can't donate and influence the politicians so much, when it actually isn't in the general population's interest.

Ironically we are a giant capitalist nation that is buying a lot of our crap made in COMMUNIST or dictatorship  nations now. How the hell did that happen?

Hehe! I know!

Our American companies decided their loyalty to stockholders was much more important than serving the country that they are selling the goods too!  Many of those manufacturing jobs are going to have to come back here.  Over time, we can't survive financially by remodeling each others houses!  We export lots of money when a factory is paying mexican/chinese workers instead of us American gasbags!  Maybe we needed to learn a lesson as a society, because we were/are getting a little chubbed up and lazy and didn't feel we needed to work very hard.  Now we will pay.

Well the occupy wall street protests are growing and now unions are starting to get involved with them.  Some early comparisons to the 'arab spring' are now starting to pop up.   They haven't made it to that point just yet, but right now would be a bad time for a major stock crash or something else that might trigger the growing mob.

In addition there appears to be a serious threat to take down the NYSE next week through a group that has hacked out other targets.  I would imagine that threat is not genuine, because they have given up the element of surprise.  We shall see.  Are we closer now to riots in the streets?

around 3 days later now and the occupy wall street riots are slowly growing.  100's in LA yestereday.  Obozo is actually trying to brown nose the group and it would appear that he is encouraging the protest to grow.  '

Right now nothing much is happening in politics...and fall is setting in...I'm pretty sure when violence does finally set in, it will be from a group similar to this one that is just starting to develop...but riots don't usually happen when it is freezing or snowing, but come spring/summer next year it will warm up again.

I doubt the Tea Party group would start violence, but they might react to it.

Yeah, Obama and the labor unions are joining the communist anti-capitalist bandwagon now.

Is anyone surprised by that?

Well maybe obozo would like to try to have some measure of control over this group...It could be that he hopes to 'join' with them in order to diffuse them somewhat...if he endorses them too strongly though he will be held responsible for their futures actions...so he is just playing politics, as usual.  I'm curious how they will be dealt with when they start breaking windows and setting fires.

I read what was probably an exaggerated report their was nearly 10,000 in NY yesterday.  That can't be right.

I am not sure what the exact number is but the protest is growing. There will always be people either exaggerating or downplaying the number of people. Last Saturday 700 people were arrested & for that amount to be arrested - the protesting number had to be big.

Yesterday they marched to Washington Square Park- close to NYU and are drawing more & more college students from the area colleges. The reported amount of protesters for yesterday was less than what was actually there - so I think that number was downplayed. They have a march schedule for today.

Now they say that the protest have spread to about 150 cities, they also have between 10,000-15,000 post an hour on twitter, Occupy Wall Street Facebook page have over 138,000 members plus a lot of similar FB pages.

Some members of The Transport Workers Union, the Service Employees International Union, the United Federation of Teachers and the United Auto Workers have joined the protest match. A.F.L.-C.I.O have expressed unanimous support for the protest.
If we were all forced to wear a warning label, what would yours say?

The occupy wall street mob is up to 1000’s or 10’s of 1000’s now!  Still no REAL violence though. They look like a bunch of granola fed college students and old hippies.  At the moment nothing much is going on politically except a bunch of brown nosing politicians acting like they are the ‘occupiers’ friends!   I think before this is over, this group is going to turn hard left.  These people don’t seem to grasp the issues on a very deep level but they do now that our power structure is all fouled up and still getting worse.  Looks like we are still a little ways off before the police have to jump these people in force and start cracking skulls!  Heck Geraldo and Pelosi appear giddy over what is developing!

I was talking to an aging teacher this week.  She is 56 years old.  She is going through the motions and ready to retire, but she says she has to stick it out another 6 years. She told me if she waits until she is 62, she will get 91/92% of her ending salary and that is what she wants.   So guess what she is also doing at her at her ripe age?  She is getting her MASTERS degree, that is going to put her in a significantly higher pay category and her next 25 years of pension will be based on that higher rate.  When she finally retires her salary will top out at close to 90K.  If what she says is true, that would mean that she will be making roughly 80K in retirement at age 62.    I have no ideal how that is sustainable when large numbers of teachers are collecting this much as retirees.

The numbers of teachers are shrinking and that and that means less money for the retirement funds, which in turn continue to have to pay out more and more money.  It is obvious that a collapse will occur at some point.

Uh, I don't know where you have been FT, but the collapse has already happened here in California. The state is broke largely because of these stupid union pensions.

And now, even though the state has no money and is deep in debt, ILLEGAL Aliens (Undocumented Democrats) can go to college for free.

The ILLEGAL alien free college thing is disgusting to me.  There is a finite amount of money and when some of that money goes to families of illegals OVER american born citizens, that bothers me quite a bit.  There is less and less incentive to follow laws, and more and more incentive to break them.  That is our new society in CA.

Iran plots terrorist attacks in US. Ron Paul says it's none of our business if Iran wants an atomic bomb. After all, if we have them then Iran and anyone else who wants one has a right to it and we should butt out...

I see that Herman Cain has moved ahead in the polls:

Governor Good Hair hasn't a prayer. Nationally he's allegedly loosing poll numbers because of his poor debating skills. Here in Texas I don't know anybody backing him, mostly because of Guardasill (sp?) and Trans Texas Corridor, both of which went over as well as the proverbial lead ballon. He'll drop from his former first place, current third place, to "also ran" when the rest of the country gets wind of those schemes.

I can’t see Perry ever winning after his illegal immigration statements.  I like Cain and hope the ticket ends up being Cain/Romney or Romney/Cain.  It is way better than obozo.   I know Ron Paul has no chance, but I like that his ideas being thrown out there in the mix.

I found an article that presents Ron Paul’s foreign policy platform which he states it as being “Non-Interventionism but not ‘isolationism’.   When his take is explained fairly, it does not seem unreasonable to me.
