Jeff with all due respect you´re an "Aisian" guy. Cachos and I imagine cornos, refers to a woman cheating on her man, she "puts horns (cachos) on him". My ex wife once said of a friend (whose woman was cheating on him) he was wearing such big cachos he´d have to stoop to enter the doorway. Doesn´t refer to someone you´re having an affair with. That is a "mosa" or "moso". What she was saying (Brazilgirl) is that the guy who takes the 10 back will find himself wearing "cachos" before long.

Yes, you are right about the meaning of cornos. But I never said that the guy who takes a 10 will automatically be cheated. Please go back there and read it again. I said that by reading the posts (in general) we could tell who is going to fail. Come on... A guy that wants a girl that dresses like that, and worst, post pictures like that, will get what?

Plus, you guys at the latin board are so rude (with VERY FEW exceptions). You want to find a lady, but you don't know to behave like gentlemen. Just like the guys we find on every corner here.

But a guy that makes one trip to Colombia looking for a woman would have more valuable info on the subject than braziliangirl.She should stick to info about Brazil and her views from a woman's perspective instead of making outlandish comments like being able to tell who will fail just by reading these posts. I am not buying a wife.  Buying a wife would be handing her money in exchange for her to be your wife.  I said if I am paying X amount of money to bring a girl back (as in all the money that is needed to travel, the money spent down there, the money spent on an agency the money spent on X, etc) she better be very attractive.  Now if you take that as buying a wife I am pretty sure that means that anyone who has gone the agency route or looked for love in a foreign country attempted to "buy a wife".  I would think that most would find your kind of thinking offensive and gross.  Perhaps it is because English is your second language?  I can understand that because a lot of my Colombian friends misunderstand things that involve subtle nuances of the language (slang, jokes, expressions, etc).

My interpretation of your remark was that if she was not physically a 10 you were not interested.  Hence the entire discussion about "buying a wife"

And, If that's your only criteria, my point, and many others posters point was that you would indeed get your 10- but not necessarily a quality wife!

I think one of the key reasons to goto another country is besdies if you love the culture (I grew up around Colombians), and you want a woman who is not Americaned is the fact that it is easier to get beautiful women.  If she was not very very attractive why would I ever go through all the effort?  I can get cute girls who are Colombian here.  My idea is to find a better looking girl on both the inside and the outside.  I don't see why people are in such an uproar over that.  Why? Becuase my taste is girls who dress sexy?  That's my personal choice.  I would also like to say I am probably way more street smart then the average poster on this board based on reading the tonality, the wording and a few people's archive.  If i think a girl is shady or trying to play me I will move on, it's as easy as that. I am learning spanish, I read body language very well and I grew up around Colombians along with growing up a street kid and doing my fair share of hustling.  I know what i am getting myself into.  Now it is a public messageboard so of course people  are goign to judge me but NEVER did I say I am "buying a wife" and I think there is only 1 type of person who goes to another country.  The person who wants something he is not finding here.  For me it is a better quality of looks while still having a great personality.  Is it doable?  Maybe, maybe not.  As I said to here "we'll see".  That being said I stand by everything I have said.  hope this clears it up!

Thank you.  Easier to clarrify my thoughts at home and once I saw how people were responding.  It shows not their misunderstanding but my lack of communication (since classic dogma in communication is it is the communicator's job to get his point across).

Apologies on the hater comment btw.  It's my own fault for not expressing myself clearer in the beginning.  I am this sure board has seen the story a 1000 times before:  Guy shows up, thinks he will go Colombia, rescue some 10 because he is wealthier then her and they will ride off on a white horse into the sunset and live happily ever after.  Then this guy is eaten alive by the Colombians from the Barrios who smell money and flock like sharks to blood.  Then he comes back to PL to cry.  This is why Brazillian girl said she can predict who will succeed or fail based on posts.  

I should have made it clearer that I a) grew up around colombians, b) grew up as a street kid so I get the game pretty well, c) already haev girls in my life just looking for something better and d) am learning spanish.  Probably not the typical PL "noob" who shows up expecting he will part the proverbial red sea.
