Listen AsphaltVoyager

No matter how hot or beautiful she is, there is no trusts in the relationships.    I have been through this before.

In the past, I have closed my profile on many ocassions, but they did not close their profiles.  All of them claimed that I did not close my profile.   Obviously they did not look at my profile which means they were not really interested in me .... so I moved on ....... and moved on..... and moved on .......   Finally, I have found my lady!

You don't need to be a Poirot to figure it out!

Good luck

Sometimes, we want to believe so badly that something is so true and so right, that we lose sight of all the other possibilities.

>>If I listened long enough to you
I'd find a way to believe that it's all true
Knowing that you lied straight faced while I cried
Still I look to find a reason to believe

If I gave you time to change my mind
I'd find a way to leave the past behind
Knowing that you lied straight faced while I cried
Still I look to find a reason to believe<<

Written by Tim Hardin, recorded by Bobby Darin, Ricky Nelson, Rod Stewart, (B side to Maggie May) Johnny Cash, etc.

AV,
Hang in there. You're man enough to take the lumps that get doled out here w/o getting too pissed and running off. More importantly, you know the lumps out there in the real world are harder, the risks and potential rewards, greater. There's a lot of experience around here and a lot of ladies out there.

Thank you, Robert. You know, one of these days it would be great to have a big get-together with all the folks here to laugh and cry over our journey to Love. (even William3rd *lol* j/k, William)

Maybe I could even provide the feast without going bankrupt since I'll have some wholesale connections I can use.  :o

I never did get into asking Ahya to delete her profile or ask for password or such. Once there is trust & a commitment on BOTH side - I feel that there is no need for that.

She deleted her profile on her own (before I deleted mine) & I did likewise. The other ladies that I was chatting with on YM, I told them what my situation was and some of us parted ways & some of us still "chat" as friends - saying the occasional hello/how are you & the family.

I get a daily recipes via email & I save them in a folder in my hotmail account. Ahya wanted me to forward her a few of the recipes - I just gave her my password & she took the recipes that she wanted.

Edit:
While I was typing this post, I got a message from one of the ladies I used to chat with. She wanted to gave me her good news - she is engaged to be married in December.

AsphaltVoyager will be ok, he just need to stop drinking for a little while, relax, meditate & clear his mind. Then go out and have the proper drink so her can see the "light".  ;)

Hmm... somehow, I think perhaps he missed the point of the preacher's message, but... I can't be absolutely certain.  ;D

Wow kfc is that your fiance you are a very lucky man.  The women I have dealt with always volunteered to either remove their profile or put on the profile that they are taken or even put my picture there.  However I never asked them too.  Since I started this I always had in my mind that it would not be fair to ask them to totally remove their profile until we had met in person and confirmed our union, however in reality its a little different cause it would not have made me happy if they had a stable of other men.  However if you sense something in this young lady that makes you feel she is good for you then give her a second chance.  These women are scared and have fear of being played as well. So sometimes if they have backup AT FIRST then it does not mean they are always players.  The key is to watch out for all the little signs as you continue to talk to her. Its the little things she does or does not do that will clue you in to her intentions.
