Little experiment ,“which Latin country has more women open to a “hookup”

While reading a post recently about a Colombiana trying to scam the system for a visa, and how the thread got completely off subject and went into  many different directions, it gave me an idea  to try a little experiment.


Latin Cupid and Colombian Cupid, two very well know internet dating sites. I made a profile on each website, with the fake photos of a  good looking guy in his 30’s,  has no kids, ect. I specifically put in the profile, in Spanish  “description” ( please read description below before responding to any winks or letters) and in  “seeking”   ( looking for a women, only for games, physical relationship only, nothing serious, must be sensual and good in bed and at certain things)

On Colombian cupid, I let the profile sit there, since this site is only for Colombians, I did not send any emails to any girl or winks, just waited to see who would read it and respond

On Latin American cupid, I would pick just about every girl I could find, Colombian Brazilian, Peruvian, Costa Rica Dominican Republic, Argentina, you name it. 


I was surprised on Colombian cupid, how many girls were sending the  fake profile winks and letters, was quite a bit. I even recognized a few girls I know on Colombian cupid, who if you read their profile were  “looking for a honest, faithful serious man for a relationship” but had no problem hooking up with the guy in the fake profile, who was clearly not  looking for  anything   serious.

On Latin Cupid, Colombians were at the top of the list, sending winks and letters. Close tie for 2nd was Brazil and Dominican Republic. Peru was a far 3rd, the rest were a tossup between Costa Rica, Argentina, Mexico, Panama and few others, with not much interest. 

So take it for what its worth, Colombians seem more open for a “fun time” than most other countries, even when they say they are looking for something serious, But im pretty sure, Brazilians are also, and their response could have been slower for the Portuguese/ Spanish language barrier. But from what I have heard from guys I know who have gone there, they like to party also.

Was it morally correct to do it? Probably not, but it was interesting.

Major props for providing honest results regardless of it if benefits your business or not. Certainly benefits your credibility. Regardless of why this happens to be true... men ought to pay attention to the fact that these issues are most prevalent in Colombia.

But to answer your question....

On a percentage basis when compared to the overall population I'd say it must be Costa Rica. The difference is in Costa Rica the line between pro and non pro is a lot less burry. If she's hooking you'll know it. She'll ask for cien... 

I used Monterrey as an example last time, but the same holds true for Costa Rica. Go meet young ladies from Escazu. You'll run into the same situation as Monterrey... women with options.

You'd really have to look at what percentage of users listed which countries. It might also be that more scammers choose those countries because they think it's more likely guys are looking for girls from those countries.

I am not an expert on Brazil, I only spent about 3 weeks in RdJ, and maybe the girls there who are into gringos are easier than normal Brazilian girls (but somehow I doubt it), but I think most girls there are open to having sex with a guy they have only spent a couple of hours with, while for Colombian girls it seems like it takes about 5 dates or a week if you play your cards right.  Also I got the impression that cheating on your spouse was the norm for both male and female brazilians.  Sex purely for recreation seemed to be considered both normal and healthy, and nothing to be ashamed of.

I never experienced that.I guess my experience with Colombianas is inline with Calipro. If she is not in bed with you by the second date, she is not interested in you. I am sure there are exceptions, but 2 dates is the norm for the Colombian guy and my experience as well.

It wasn't moral nor immoral...it is just off the mark.

Latin American Cupid lets you view the fotos and send a wink without ever even seeing the profile of the person so they wouldn't never necessarily even seen the profile let alone the request to read it before sending a wink or even a message.

I would often send winks to every single good looking woman I saw and only look at her profile only after she responded in some way.

I'll say one thing about Colombianas....they are without a doubt the social butterflies of latin america...I would bet colombianas out number or at the very least equal all the profiles of latinas from every other latin american country combined....I find that astounding considering how out numbered they are by the huge populations in Brazil and Mexico not to mention all the other countries in the region with simular populations to Colombia.

Colombianas are why I like Colombia so much...who want to go somewhere where the women aren't interested in hooking up and or have hang ups about sex.

It's just to bad that some gringos feel the need to buy gifts and spend alot of money on colombianas they happen to sleep with. It sends a terrible message...besides she should have enjoyed the sex more that you anyway as most women can have multiple orgasims. hehehe

Interesting study Mudd, but there are two things to keep in mind:

1. Were there an equal number of ladies from each country viewing the profile (roughly)

2. If the guy in the fake add were extremely handsome and had a good job, some of the ladies would be thinking "he is a playboy but I think I can land him." Sounds a little crazy but women love a challenge. "He will fall in love with me because I am special." You know aht I mean.

I have to echo Calipro on this. I used one of the above mentioned sites before and many times i had woman chat me up and never even look at my profile, just the photo.
