Hey, my name is Sean, and I am 25 years old.  If you're wondering why I'm looking for a foreign bride, well it's mainly because I've had no luck with USA women.  I've had no luck mainly because I have Goldenhar Syndrome. 



This is what I look like, and apparently USA women are put off by it.  I also have a thing for Asian women, whether it's be Filipinas, Japanese, etc.  They are just beautiful women.  I'm also looking for a woman who was raised in a culture that doesn't value looks as much, but does value what matters the most, the inside. 

Anyways, I hope to learn some things, to form fellowship, and to hopefully find my own Foreign Bride one day.

I can tell you that most don't seem to be anything like an American woman.

I can't speak specifically for the ladies but there is a joke I heard 10 years back...

Maganda girl and gwapo guy - marriage made in heaven.
Maganda girl and panguit guy - good technique.
Panguit girl and gwapo guy - true love.
Panguit girl and panguit guy - no choice.

This to me showed one "between the lines" aspect, "marriage" is what's important.  Looks always seem so out front with so many people and I don't think you'll find this not to be so in the R.P. but you will find that marriage is more important and the ladies there will strive to make it work if you do your homework and pick the right one.  You have quite a bit going for you there and it all adds up to being one of a class of men considered to be the best husbands in the world.  Add in the apparent security and opportunity of America and you've already won!  And besides I bet you have "great technique"!!!

You'll find looks, age, wealth and job position have much lower criteria for marriage in the R.P. than America.  Marriage and security are first. So basically I'd say OAV is not a critical concern but don't go with the first lady that wows you either or you might regret it.

I'll get rite to the point, If you met a great lady from the philippines & she treated you like a king but at some point you knew she wanted a child, would you marry her or would it be a deal breaker??

Welcome to P-L! You look fine...at least you're not old, fat, bald, and dain bramgaged like me.   I had 3 strokes and my Filipina wife is still by my side. You will have no problem finding interested, attractive ladies in the Philippines and Asia. Take your time until you find your soul mate. Good luck in your search!
