SFNM's injun ex in laws were probably offended after the wedding when a drunken and disheveled SFNM donned an Indian chief headdress and started whooping and hollering at the top of his lungs, "ME HUMPUM SQUAW".  

I guess not.

One reason why I made that comment is because I don't want this thread ending up in the flame room where only registered members can read it.  I think a fair warning about Jeff has been earned by him for all to read.  Another is that I think the group attack mentality lacks credibility.

Gromit – there really isn’t anything more I can add to the discussion of a factual nature but if there were, your hostility would put me off. I live in Chiclayo...that doesn't make me the enemy. I didn't take your money.

Was it something I said?  I'm not hostile towards Jeff and certainly not towards you or anyone else for that matter.  Just calling a spade a spade as they say.  I'm sorry if I came across that way to you.  You'll have to indulge me (and others affected) a little as I don't take kindly to people that play the sympathy card, borrow money and lie through their teeth about paying it back.  I'm sure you can understand that.  

Actually, I'm glad that you decided to grace us with your Peruvian presence.  You gave some credence to what Raycjs and I have already said.

It would be nice the next time you see the "strange character" to question him why he ripped so many people off.  Since he doesn't have the cajones to respond here I'd be interested in what he might say to you.  (I'll even promise not to come across as being "hostile" if you'd be so kind to report back.)  

Somehow I don't think this is the end of the story even though our resident attorney has tired of it.

I can see why some guys are pissed off big time for having been taken for a ride by a fellow gringo  and I can see why they wouldn´t care to just "lay it to rest".  Trusting a Colombian is pure folly but I´ve always felt there´s sort of a code of honor amongst gringos in Colombia. Most guys I´ve met here I would trust and I´ve lent a few bucks to guys who needed it...and got paid back. Violate that code and you deserve to be roasted hasta bien asado.

I am sure that it is not the end of the story. I look forward to SingleFatherAgain coming out in response. I felt  pity for him, having been a single father myself and also having had to deal with CPS. I have tired of the part of the story after I actually went to the ojibway website and spoke to some Kellys. If those children were abandoned in Peru, then teh CPS and Canadian consulate needed to be involved. Its not worth my time or effort to find out anything more.

It looks like you've had some experience with a few Colombians.  It's unfortunate but all to often that is the case.  A subject that might be worth a whole new thread. 

Yes, dangerous indeed to violate that code.  For example, look what happened to Walter Mora.

The sad thing about SF (besides caring diddly-squat about numerous friendships) is that he used his kids in this ploy.  In my book that is contemptuous.

You don't suppose a new poster here and Chiclayo Gringo are one in the same?  My hunch is that they are.  Defending SF on one forum yet stating he was the strangest character he's ever met on this one.

SingleFatherAgain, I missed that when I first read your post.  Appropriate enough.

I'm curious what the Kellys said when you spoke with them.  Do you mind telling us? 

What gave you the impression that SFA abandoned his children?  I seem to recall he left them with some of Roxi's relatives then returned to Canada to work.  Odd that he'd leave his children with in-laws when the relationship with Roxi was heading south but like SYS said,...

Do you really think that SF will make an appearance? It "ain't gonna happen".

I pretty much summed it up in my earlier post. . . . .

Not much was said. . . and rightfully so, since it really aint much of my business.

Anyway, for you custodial parents out there, leaving your children alone in a foreign country with a soon to be former step-mom is not a good idea so you can go hang out back in the fatherland is not a very good decision when it comes to the best interests of those children.
