The Family That Stays Together

THE FAMILY THAT STAYS TOGETHER- A Letter To Immigration

Dear Sirs,
I am writing this letter to inform you of the fraudulent procurement of a visa and fraudulent entry into the United States by my former fiancée, HA QUE DINH. The facts as follow clearly show the intentions of HA QUE DINH to obtain immigration benefits under false pretenses using the K-1 fiancée visa process.
I, Paul S Solar, and HA QUE DINH carried on a two year correspondence after being introduced through her US citizen uncle, WILLIAM WEBSTER WONG. At his urging, I visited Vietnam and the overriding theme was ‘cohabitation and marriage’. We both made statements to this effect when applying for the K-1 visa.
On November 27, 2003 I arrived at the airport to pick her up based on information received from her uncle. She had already cleared customs by arriving earlier on a different flight, leaving no message. I waited for hours for immigration to clear then had airport employee’s check port of entry...she was not there. I finally tracked her down at her uncles, WILLIAM WEBSTER WONG home. Her family and she stated that  she needed some time at her uncles home to ‘adjust’ to the United States and that she would be relocating to my residence soon.

For approximately three weeks, repeated efforts by me to contact her were met by delay after delay as to when we would begin our new life together and increasingly vague reasons why Miss Dinh couldn’t see me, spend time with me or go places with me. (I saw this person 6-8 total hours since her arrival).     On or about December 26 2003, I met her at her uncles home, and questioned her about her actions, and if she really intended to marry me. She replied ‘I am here only for my family, not for you',’ my family is first’ and ‘I must support my family’ and again made excuses why she would not see me or go with me to meet my family or friends.
On December 28, 2003 I met with HA QUE DINH, her uncle WILLIAM WEBSTER WONG and her aunt LANG WONG. They stated to me that there was no intention of marriage to their niece. I told them that the intent of the K visa was marriage and to misrepresent this and enter the US is against the law. I informed them that she must leave the US and that I would inform immigration of the non marriage and the facts of this case. I also informed them that I would make her plane reservations home and give her the ticket.
From this point on, they became very evasive and vague, requesting that I not tell immigration and not willing to make any plans about her return to Vietnam. During this conversation, the Wongs stated that Miss Dinh had a ‘sick relative’ in California, and Dinh was leaving to go to take care of her the next day. I have not had personal contact with HA QUE DINH since December 28, 2003. She never cohabited with me and never spent any time alone with me since her surreptitious I Do not know her whereabouts.
In repeated efforts to contact her at her uncles home to arrange her return to Vietnam, I again received vague answers as to her whereabouts.’ she isn’t home’ she is sleeping’ etcI believe she is now in California.
I received an e-mail from her e-mail address, not to contact her or her uncle again, that she would buy her own ticket back to Vietnam. I am not sure WHO wrote the e-mail.
After consulting my family, friends and attorney, I realize I have been a victim of visa fraud in that; HA QUE DINH made false and misleading statements to obtain immigration benefits.
With the statements stipulated above, I would like to request you revoke her visa for immigration fraud and return her to Vietnam
Sincerely yours,
Paul S Solar

At last report, this woman is still in hiding somewhere in the United States with some of her family members and the Department of Homeland Security has apparently done nothing, despite repeated inquiries by Mr. Solar’s US Senators and Congressman. Mr. Solar has found another fiancée-a real fiancée, this time- in Vietnam and will be marrying soon.

what are the chances of this chick ever getting sent back?
if she keeps a low profile i would say that it is fairly good especially since she is in the peoples republic of california.

Thanks William - sad story. It reminded me a bit of of Lori and Thai - except they got legally married. That was back 6 or so years ago.

Hey William,

If this had occurred after IMBRA, would Mr. Solar have to wait 24 months before filing another K-1 Visa petition, or could he be granted a waiver to file a sooner? Would this be counted as "Strike 1" ?

THis was pre-IMBRA.He would have to apply for a waiver for the 2 w/i 24. I havent seen a problem with those waivers yet
However, it was one of those famous relative introductions that some folks prize so highly. Uncle intros niece to US co-worker. And. . . .

I still prefer that route, at least in regards to the Philippines. Probably the most successful method for long term, successful marriages with Filipinas. Reputable introduction agencies (illegal in the Philippines) are close. In last place would likely be marrying one of your barfines from the night before...

I have heard a few of these horror stories with Vietnamese, besides Lori's case. I'm sure it can happen anywhere (I know a Colombiana who is trying to marry off all of her nieces and relatives...5 marriages to US citizens...4 divorces so far). I have a Vietnamese (raised in the US) friend who was introduced in a similar fashion to a lady born and raised in Vietnam. The next thing he knew, she was living with her US relatives, then off to the "University of Fingernails" in California to obtain her "BS in Nails." The last time that I talked to him, he was thinking about visiting me in the Philippines.

Oh well, I guess it would be better to marry just about any lady than a katoey ;D I wonder if they have altered birth certificates? I'm sure glad Filipino ladyboys can't afford fake boobs!  I guess if unsuspecting foreigners keep sending them money after chatting with them on the Internet, they will soon!  ::)

This poor farang thinks he hit the jackpot! He will probably wake up to a big surprise!

Wow Dave some of those ladyboys look VERY real :o :o
the problem that i see is most "good girls" would probably have a problem with me doing an in depth exam upon meeting for the 1st time. If you ask 1 of these impostors will they what they actually are??

A good reason for a "virginity check", eh?  If the doc comes back and says, "Yes, he is most definitely a virgin and has never had sex with a woman," then you'll know you are in trouble.

Hey piglett,

No, I don't think that they would appreciate being grabbed in their crotch Crocodile Dundee style! :o  Most good girls won't even kiss or hug you when you meet, unless perhaps they are in a large city and family isn't present.

If you ask 1 of these impostors will they what they actually are??

piglett

Some will and some won't...

At the risk of continuing to "highjack" this thread...  ;D

Bait and Switch

I wouldn't underscore the value of a personal introduction or "virginity check"...(THANKS BOB!!! ) They are excellent "verification" methods!  Some of these "ladies" not only have boobs, but have been "clipped." I'm very grateful that I haven't had "opportunity" to differentiate between a natural and "man-made" vagina! Again, fortunately most gays in the Philippines can't afford these procedures. But I personally never wanted to  risk waking up next to a "chick with a dick" either!!! I don't want to swap spit or bump dicks and then spend the rest of my life trying to deny it and taking baths rubbing alcohol.  :o "What happens in Asia stays in Asia!"  :'(

It probably doesn't happen all the time...but once is more than enough!!!  I have several Filipino neighbors that really look and act like women. One finally was asked to retire from our Miss Gay Barangay Pageant because "she" always won. Several years ago, two other gays received visits from their online foreign "boyfriends." They had traveled to the Philippines from the US and Australia just to meet their "ladies" in person. The gays had been content just to receive money and gifts. Before the visit, one of the gays came by our house and was freaking out! My wife told him to be honest! Well...he waited until the foreigner arrived at the airport. He did a poor makeup job on himself, then quickly introduced the boyfriend to his pretty, 18 year old niece that he had brought along. The man was happy with the younger "lady" and married her during that visit. The gay did the wedding planning and decorating, really quite impressive.  ;D The other gay took off to Manila and hid. The family told the man that "she" was sick and he was introduced to a pretty younger cousin, that he married also. I don't know if this foreigner ever discovered his folly.

Through my former employment, I once examined the dead bodies (double gloves)  ;D of 3 transvestite, Latina prostitutes (boobs, but unclipped) . Eventually, the murder was caught and confessed.  He was a Cuban man in his mid 60’s. He picked up all of the gays in an area that prostitutes were known to frequent. He received oral sex from the first "lady," then decided  to grab her crotch. He was horrified when he discovered that had mistaken the transvestite for a lady. He proceeded to shoot and kill “her.” He decided that he would rid the area of male prostitutes impersonating women. He continued to “patronize” the area for a few months until he was arrested. His new approach was to grab the hooker in the crotch shortly after she got into his car. If she didn’t have the telltale bulge, he would accept oral pleasure. If he discovered a bulge, he would kill them instead.
