My name is Rick and I'm just starting this new venture.  I was stationed in the PI many years ago and would love to make a return visit and possibly find a loving wife.  Though my age (61) really limits my prospects with AW, I know that is not the case with a filipina.  I'm already familiar with blossoms and filipina heart (both reputable companies).  I have also found a site named Cebuanas.com.  Apparently, they operate out of Cebu.  Anyone familiar with them?  Any other recommendations?  Thank you.

Most everyone knows a Filipino.  They are eager to help family and friends find mates here.  If you know one then befriend them and tell them your intentions they probably have several good prospects to introduce your too.

Pros and cons...
(con) make sure you know the character of the Filipinos your are asking for an introduction.  I have acquaintances here who used a guy to get a longtime girlfriend here.  Problem was he was a stupid and got used to the max.  She has since divorced him and remarried a really nice guy that she doesn't deserve - I hope he doesn't get used too.

If the people are straight up with you, and most are, then they will in a way "lose face" if the girl they introduce you to isn't a "good wife" and Filipinas tend to be strongly affected by peer pressure.  If you watch for the normal red flags and ask the questions you need answers too this method in my opinion is the best chance of success.  It also has the benefit of the least amount of pressure on the Filipina because she has someone here to turn too if there are problems which would probably make her (and her family) feel more safe and secure in her decision about you.
