What would be the odds of someone starting a business in barranquillla that is international in nature? Selling something from there... producing something for their from somewhere else whatever....

I think it would be interesting... any opened a business that does import/export?

your way late dude, its called international import / export. everybody and their mother is doing that. you know who many Colombians go to Panama and Miami ,buy things and sell them in Colombia and visa versa, lots!!

way way to late .. many Colombians ladies have been going to Panama , Costa Rica and selling some things and are very successful at it .

for a few months ha ha, work at strip clubs,and are call girls , save their $$$ and then return home with nice clothes, electronics and lots of $$$$. if your dating a girl and she tells you she travels to panama, costa rica for work, you better look into it.

I was talking about if someone has started a real business selling products from and or to barranquilla or some other city. What would be the possibility of this.

If this something you want to get your chick involved, just bring your bags full of cool stuff for her to sell. That way she has her own $$$.

If you want to try something more professional then you have to really see if it is worth paying all the taxes and that the product you intend to sell is really something people in south America are interested in buying. You would need to find a cargo company and Barranquilla is just the place.

Anything is possible...I guess
