I'm A Comin' Out O' The Closet

  Hi to everyone! I decided after almost a year and a half of lurking, sponging info. good and bad and watching the occasional cat fights between members spark up, I should make myself official and come into the light.
I live in SoCal, 40 year-old, divorced average joe but found a beautiful woman from Colombia when I went down to Barranquilla last November. I feel like I have been given a new lease on life from her, what a great feeling!
  Anyways, I really enjoy reading and learning from the guys with the experience here and especially the trip reports. Those are like gold for the newbies that are maybe thinking about getting on that plane to find love. I only hope that us newbies can ask questions that may be obvious to the ol' timers, but not so obvious to the new peoples, we don't get our heads handed to us. We're all here to learn from each other, at least I hope.
  Well that's it I guess, I am very happy to be on board, and let the games begin!

  Hi and thanks to all that have given me a "Howdy and welcome!" It really is a great place when everyone is on the same page and it seems from some of the ultimate fighting that goes on here sometimes that we forget everyone started out as a newbie.
  Anyways, Jeff, I have not started any paperwork yet. Kinda letting everything gel a little more than my patience would normally allow for. But no point in spending way more $ than I had in the first place, for the whole thing to blow up in my face later on down the road by not taking things a little slow, you know?. I went with Jamie's agency as I have posted earlier and before I left, I asked Mary to be my lady and she said "Si!" That was back in Nov. So I went out, bought a webcam and since mid Nov. we talk/see each other almost everyday since then. We have committed ourselves to each other and when I can save up a few more pennies, I'm going back to BAQ and propose.
