Hi again all

Hope we are well!

Well only 5 weeks now and I am off to Baq to Jamie's agency, Cannot wait, really looking forward to it, but very nervous and really want to avoid meeting anyone unfaithful.
I know these things cannot be rushed and great thought must be done in order to suceed I believe.
If anyone can give me any further advice or tips, it would be greatly appreciated. With being from the UK, it aint easy to travel there very often, so I am going for 2 weeks in order to hopefully make my dream happen and meet my future partner, Ideally i would like to commit to a lady before i return home and do not really like the idea of returning home with maybe 2 or 3 ladies that i am really interested in and they are interested in me and carry on corresponding, I would like to maybe do my dating the first week and then hopefully use my 2nd week to spend some quality time with a lady, thats my plan anyway
The reason behind this is as I said earlier about living in the Uk ( much further to travel )
Once again anyone who can give and tips and or advice on my plans etc, it will be greatly appreciated, Had some great advice from my Friend Ray
As you can see from my picture, i am no oil painting, Im 33, so I will not have them knocking down my door to meet me, I would imagine many of the great looking ladies would like a great looking man also, i believe i am a good man (not blowing my own trumpet) with a good heart and good values, so hopefully this will shine through my not so good looking looks lol!

Don't fret too much over your physical appearance, compared to most of us you are going to look like Brad Pitt!  Good luck & try to keep your cool while you are being swamped by more beautiful babes then you have likely 'dated' in the previous 5 years!

Craig, I was trying to pump you up a bit since you seemed to be downing yourself in regards to your physical appearance.  The kids you have are a different issue altogether.  I do think having kids will take you out of the running with some of the women, but you will still be left with many to choose from.  Of those that remain, some will be sincerely interested and some will pulling your leg a bit.  You will have to use your wits to figure out what is what!

Just going by your post, I would like to make a comment about some of the things you've said. First, I wouldn't go down there with the mindset that you want to commit to someone before you come back, only because you would feel that you must accomplish this and thus you would overlook certain faults, and red flags a woman might have. I think of it as a vacation, and if i end up hooking up with someone, that's a huge bonus. Second, don't beat yourself up over your looks, Latin American women are like any other women in certain aspects. Yes, Looks do factor in, but a majority of women like a man who's confident and sure of himself. Women can pick up on it, and they do, even the latin ones. An outgoing personality, combined with an confident charming wit can melt any colomibiana. Combine that with some spanish, you're all set.

I was were you are about 4 months ago and don't worry, the ladies will be knocking down the door. I'm 41 and found the attention from the younger girls in Baq a great ego boost, but not really what I was looking for. Also, I went for 2 weeks with the same intention of spending the 2nd with someone special, but instead spent it going on more and more dates. You can read my report on that if you haven't already. That said, hopefully your experience will be different.

I'm currently in Bogota about to post a report and have to say that this town has a lot more to offer for what I'm looking for. Jamie's agency provides unparalleled service, but in general I didn't find the type of woman I was hoping to find to be the norm. To be sure, there are some gems there, and with any luck, you'll find the one you're looking for.
