PAYPAL DEBIT CARD in COLOMBIA

I left my paypal debit card with my GF in COLOMBIA and
she is having problems withdrawing cash with it. She says
that when she inserts the card a message comes up saying
that the card could not be read.

 When I was there I did not have that problem but found
that not all ATM'S would accept the card. 
Can ayone help me with this. thank you kindly

My wife nor I have ever had a problem using our PayPal debit Card in Cali.

The only thing that comes to mind is when you slide the card it will ask you if it is a credit or current account (checking account).....if it is just a debit card without a credit line she should choose "current account".

my fiance lives in BQ and that is what she uses and we have not had any problems with the card. She only goes to the bank to withdraw money. I do not know what to tell you sorry.
