FOREIGN LADIES WEBSITE FRAUD? SET UP?

I have joined the Foreign Ladies website on 12th May and have got 134 messages waiting for me to open.   It costs $7.50 per letter read or send. 

I do not think it is very genuine website.  Has anyone ever used it?

I have never received 134 messages when I was with LatinAmericanCupid (about $30 a month unlimited letters) in the space of only 10 days.

Do lady get paid half the fee?

I believe the site you are referencing is a part of the AFA network (A Foreign Affair).

In my opinion sites that are set up like this are a total rip-off.  I would not trust that any of the letters are from real women that are interested.  Probably generic crap meant to string you along.  I know somebody who spent 1000's and when it came time to meet the lady she was 'busy'

This sort of thing should be illegal !!!   That's why I haven't paid for it.  I feel sorry for someone who had paid for......

You should answer the first thread you started Tuesday afternoon as it is bad form to not answer posts on a thread that you started.. You got some great feedback there on this subject..

Most posters read both boards so post a thread just in one place.. If you really wanted more input in your other thread then you could have just started a thread here with the link to your asian board thread. That way everyone is answering your questions on one thread instaed of 2 threads..

Sorry I did not realise my topic was up on site.  My Internet connection froze and collapsed when I pressed 'Post' last time ..........  I thought I have lost it so had to write again 2 days later!!!!!!!!  DAMN!  It was already there!!!

FL definitely is one of many websites owned by AFA.  I did a www.betterwhois.com inquiry on their domain name and noticed that Ken Agee, one of the owners of AFA, is listed.

It's your money and you can spend it any way you see fit but personally I would not use AFA's services because of the numerous complaints that I have read about them over the years.  Also, I think that they are way overpriced.  For example, for $US50.00 you could write and receive letters to your hearts content on any of the Cupid sites.  Why would you pay to have each letter read when there is no assurance it is even from the woman writing it?

You seem to have a lot of irons in the fire.  I applaud your enthusiasm but if I were you, I would join a reasonably priced agency like Cupid one to three months before your planned trip to make numerous focused contacts to meet later.  I would NOT spend an inordinate amount of time with internet agencies, ads in newspapers, etc. but choose a service that you like and then get on that plane and meet a bunch of foreign ladies.

I posted about my experiences with ColombianCupid and offered advice on how to use their services to full advantage on another forum that you might like to read.  I can post it here if you like or send you a link to it in a PM.  Just let me know.
