Good News!

My novia and I got our NOA-2 yesterday!  Finally!  We filed our papers on 05/18/07 and after a small side step with an RFE, the approval came via email yesterday.  Total time from file date to NOA-2:  2 weeks shy of 6 months.

We were planning on being together for the holidays, but it looks more like Jan or Feb before she gets here. 

Now comes the wait for the petition to reach NVC and then on to Bogota.  Thanks to all that gave advice and helped in the beginning stages.

Happy for you. I remember being ecstatic at that stage. I believe the remainder of the process took about 4 months, so your February estimate sounds about right. Godspeed.
