Bogota here I come
« on: October 19, 2007, 05:41:13 AM »
I am literally 2 minutes from starting my trip to Bogota.  I have high hopes for this being my 4th trip to Colombia.  This is my first trip to Bogota.  I will be there with Latin Life Mates.  So far the company has been very good with me.  I call Jim S. all the time, and he calls me.  Ximena has been nothing but helpful.  I just have a good feeling about this trip.  I hate flying but I will get through that.  If anyone is going to be in Bogota from 19 October to 5 November maybe we can meet up for a beer.  Trip report will follow once I get back

Happy hunting!  Have a great time and enjoy yourself.

I will be waiting to read your report on LLM.  I hope Jim treats you right!

Univision showed some terrible flooding in Bogota on October 20.  Hope that doesn't ruin your visit, but also want to read about this situation if it affects your visit.

Gee, we live in Bogotá and saw nothing unusual-but maybe that explained why Mrs. Gator's cat, Ralf never came back. ¡Cocodrilos malditos!

Any way expect some rain and bring a light jacket and sweater.  You will be coming to a great city.

I am currently in Bogota.  I am having a great time.  I love this cool weather.  Yes it is raining a lot but not affecting me in anyway.  I don't know anything about a flood.  I will write a trip report once I get back.  But LLM is treating me great.  I am meeting some great women.  I am very impressed with the women here.  They are very educated, and many have their own businesses.  I did meet Jim the owner last Saturday before he left for Medeillne.  He lives there and working on LLM for that city.  Jim S. here has been great.  He knows so many of these women.  I wont comment on the agency next door because I don't know first hand the un flattering stories I am hearing about that agency.  This city is so different than Barranquilla.  Cleaner, and plenty of security.  I really feel at ease here, even though I don't speak Spanish.  The toughest thing I am trying to deal with is who am I going to spend my birthday with on Saturday.  Oh yeah elections on Sunday so the country kinda shuts down a little bit.  No alcohol, and no major traveling this weekend.  Lucky I have alcohol in my mini bar.  If anyone want to meet up sometime while I am here I am open to it.  I know you guys like it when a woman participates here so I am trying to get One of the workers here to help us out.  She seems interested in doing it.  Peace fellas

Stew!  Have a good time.  The one thing that might kill me about Bogota is the perv in me would  like to see the skimpy outfits on the babes.  I am sure they all look cute in jackets and jeans too, but showing that smooth tan skin of an upper thigh is what really gets me sexually charged up!  I assume you are seeing a lot less of that, at least out in public!  :D

"I wont comment on the agency next door because I don't know first hand the un flattering stories I am hearing about that agency."

I was a member of the "agency next door" and heard the same type of stories about LLM.I had talked to Jim before I made my mind up about which one to join and I didn't really put too much into to those stories...I think they both are good agencies...I just picked the one that I thought would work best for me....and it did...I was very satisfied with the people that worked there and the service that I got....so good luck BigStew, it sounds like you made the right choice also... :)
