I"m sure everyone has been noticing the number of smites adding up on their karma ranking.....I didn't even make a post in the past twenty four hours and I was smited!!! Someone sure has a lot of time on their hands....

I'm just wondering how someone could hate YOU so much. Your pretty innocent and happy with your beautiful woman! As Soltero said, some people like to smite just for fun while giggling with a diaper over there head. Perhaps they see it as similiar to someone passing out candy at a christmas party. Just spreading good cheer! jajaja:D

if I have to be hated, at least I am enjoying myself with my novia. As for the person doing the smiting, feel free to smite at will...I'll stll be here smiling and happy with my novia and instead of talking about going to Colombia endlessly, I'll be off to Medellin again in a few weeks

Thanks DLV, I think I will wait until after she arrives, I think the current picture is more becoming at this moment!...I hope you tie the knot with your woman soon, she is too hot & ripe to leave on the vine. You are a lucky guy to have such a woman!

Hey Dan,

I imagine it's some dickless little weenie who is all alone and saw your avatar with the photo of your lovely novia and was so jealous that he just lashed out the only way a weenie can.

For the record, I have never smitten anyone, but I have given out a few "applauds". I'm with FT and Soltero on this. If I don't like something that someone says, I'll speak up and say so.

I think they put these little smite buttons on these forums for the folks who just don't have the cajones to say what's on their mind. They were probably designed more for girls' forums.

But like RJS said, does anyone really care?

And one for FT for the 'diaper head' commentâ€¦

Honestly, I don't see how someone could be afraid to speak their mind on an internet forum. I said it before, if you are intimidated by anyone on a forum, behind a keyboard, you need to have your head examine.

Well, your posts live on, so I suppose a new reader could smite you if he disagreed with something you wrote months ago. I agree with Ray though. If I disagree, I post it, I don't go the chicken-snip route of anonymously pushing buttons.

Just an FYI: Applauds/Smites are not like the Appreciation votes were. The App votes were once a month and you can applaud or smite someone once every 24 hours so it may be a single person bringing your numbers up.

Sorry if that messes up your mission to have the largest variety of an un-fan club.

personally, these smites/applause are a little annoying. How about prizes for the most or least of a category. Like the most smites in a given year or something?
