I generally like my women fairly tall. I've been emailing back and forth with a woman who is shorter than I normally prefer. I'd say she's a 7 but would be an 8.5 if she were taller. She's got an attractive and kind face. It's hard to describe other than to say that I get the same sort of vibe as I do when I see pics of Bundy's novia. You can just tell that she's a very nice and caring woman from her eyes and the way she smiles. Don't get me wrong, I don't have feelings for this girl because i haven't even met her yet, but my exchanges with her have by far been the best so far. She's conversant in english She asks lots of questions about me and seems genuinely interested in meeting me. She volunteered a bunch of pictures, and we have several common interests. She's top 3 in her class and is almost finished her program in nursing, and overall she just seems to exhibit all the qualities i'd want in a wife. She even gets my twisted sense of humor. The only thing that's bugging me is that she's 5'1, 110... Does anyone else think about this stuff?

My brother has a gf that is around that height and is 103 pounds. She's super tiny. This girl has wider hips than my brother's gf but is definitely not what i'd term heavy set. I need to get a backside view to be sure, but I can't exactly ask for a picture of her ass.

I suppose with her my concern is more along the lines that she might not age as well. In my mind, a taller woman can better distribute weight when her metabolism slows down. Still, I'll admit to being a little caught-up on this girl. I have fairly esoteric tastes and I was surprised to find many of them matched by a latina along with all the other things she's got going for her.

When I started, I wanted a taller woman.  I also went to Ukraine.  In Colombia obviously there are not all that many tall women.  As it turns out, I started caring less and less about the height of the women I chose to see.  In the end I am very happy with my medium heighted girl.  So one could say I settled, but I feel I just changed what I wanted.

(I guess, I never ask!)  I was looking for a taller woman when I met her, but things just happen.  I'm 6'1" and she is still getting accustomed to being with someone so tall.  I never had a particular body type in mind, I just like the long, silky black hair, the pretty eyes, and the sexy way they dress!  I love latinas!

I think everyone has his tastes and his "type", and there is nothing wrong with it.  There is nothing wrong with being open-minded to make an exception, either.

Height for me is not an important characteristic, but I would prefer a girl who is 5'3-5'7". I am 5'9", and there is no way I would date a girl taller than my height.  5'1" for me is a bit of the other extreme though, but if she is nice and has good figure and face, that certainly makes a difference.

My taste is that I am rarely attracted to blond women, and particularly to women with blue and light-colored eyes.  And I would not be interested physically in a woman with a flat back as well.  I like Latinas in part because their average appearance is opposite of what I am not attracted to.  I can find an average Latin girl quite attractive, whereas a white girl will have to be model quality to make me find her as attractive.

And as for Ray's comments, I agree that her personality is important.  But she will not be just your friend, so her looks are important as well.  There are 3 billion women out there, and you only need one, so there's nothing wrong with being choosy  .

I usually think of this more in terms of what I don't like than in terms of what I do. Like, as long as a girl isn't fat, doesn't have a fugly face, etc. then I'm open. Like Ray says, it'll all go eventually anyways. I try to keep my standards for looks pretty open so I don't discount a girl with a great personality. And from my experience, many of the best looking girls don't have as much to offer in terms of personality, because they rely on their looks and don't have to work as hard to attract attention.

I also think that if you like a girl's inner qualities a lot, you'll start convincing yourself more and more that she's attractive physically. You'll start emphasizing her good qualities and excusing or de-emphasizing her bad qualities. I think most men's preferences as far as looks go are learned anyways, so they can be unlearned or re-trained.

Fat balding men should be going to weight watchers or the gym. They might just find that if they respect themselves, lose the weight, look better, and thus gain confidence, they'll be more appealing to girls. Strangely, girls find respectable self-confident guys more appealing than slobs who mope around whining pathetically about how no girls see through their obese exterior to their great inner qualities (which are often common or over-stated in actuality).

And from my understanding, the fat balding unconfident guys who go abroad can only hook up with low class girls. The higher class girls generally shrug it off in the same way they would prostitution.  Girls are much more catty then we give them credit for. If guys really believe they talk about his charecter and how good he treats them and that's all then they don't go out much. Girls talk about size, how good or bad he is in bed. I've heard "sweet " latinas make fun of fat guys,bad hairpieces, the way a guy dresses,teeth ect. They're not angels. they're human with eyes and preferences. Everyone has preferences. Just like in the U.S. the more money you have the more picky you can afford to be,the less money , the less picky.

One better believe it, I don't care if you're in NY, Atlanta, London, Stockholm, Munich, Rio De Janeiro, or Santiago Chile (all places I lived or done roll through with the exception of Chile), chicks are constantly sizing guys up, and place just as much attention on men's appearance, if not more, the difference is that chicks are way more slick and less obvious about it. There's nothing wrong with having a preference, because in the long run that is what will make and keep you happy and satisfied.  If you settle, you will more than likely just be content.

I'm 5'9" at an athletic 160-165.  I wouldn't entertain someone that was disproportionately sized for her body.  I also don't like women with bigger guts than me, which I seem to see the more trips I make to Colombia.  My first wife was white, 4'11", and about 95lbs. when I met her.  She was a cute and dressed in tight sexy clothes when we were younger, but she didn't have any stand-out physical features.  She constantly had size issues, genetics (you would understand if you saw her family), after she started having kids.  Someone that tiny carrying 115lbs will look a little thick.  I used to be into cute, thick, small waisted girls.  I didn't like skinny women.  My boy got me into skinny girls, because I think they carry their weight better in the long run.  He also got me into taller women.
