JK just got his, so how many guys do we have on here in the visa game now? Is it just Bundy, Soltero, KB and myself? I think Papi too, but I didn't catch the reason why he disapeared this time.

Yep

I am still waiting for them to approve the first part  and then to send the info to Nebraska or wherever the central processing is. I got my receipt number and they cashed my check on march 25th, but since then no news and i cannot get a live person to talk to. So i guess I just wait?

You can run the case number through the USCIS homepage. You can also call the customer service hotline. However, right now your case is sitting in a big box with a few dozen other cases on a shelf with a few dozen other boxes waiting for their turn in line located in a big warehouse.

When you next hear from them, you will either get an RFE or an approval notice.

What is RFE ?

A letter requesting additional information or evidence before they will continue processing your case.

Yeah, I'm still in the game.  My NOA1 received May 22 and I am playing the waiting game.

KB, I would probably call the USCIS to check on your paperwork.  I was under the impression that some action should be taken within 90 - 100 days, even if it is a simple "touch" on the USCIS website.  Filed in March and no action, I would just call and ruffle a few feathers.  Doesn't hurt to call and get an update from an actual person and not just by mail/email.

I will give my paperwork until August 31, if no action, I will call and speak with someone.

hahaha Same reason as last. For some reason, I thought it might be.

I sent my I-130 on May 17th however the official received date was June 5th with a touch on the 7th and that is all I had with that so far.

I sent the I-129 on June 13 with the official receipt date of June 18th. I got a lot of action after that. At first I knew it was just being transfered around, but it helped seeing the dates change on the site. Then I got 4 touches after receiving my Transfer/Pending email from Chicago to California, so I thought I was going be one of those that slid through quickly. My last touch was on July 17th. I've gotten my touches in the evening, Saturday, and Sunday, so now I check that site all the time.

I tried calling once just to clarify something and they were the vaguest people I have ever encountered. I'm not going to call again until my gut tells me something is wrong or until I get out of the quoted 60-180 days that it said in my NOA1.

I would love to talk to someone there, but i cannot figure out how to get a live person. If anyone can tell me how, that would be much appreciated, And the only touch i got was 27th of April when California got my application. maybe it is different for the K-1. Mine is the spousal visa and may go a different timeframe. If you know how to talk to a live person, PM me and give me some help please.

I just called the 800 number when I first saw my check was cashed to get the application number so I could track the progress.  After 15 different options, I spoke with a lady and she was very polite and helpful.  I do not remember the number but I got it off of visajourney.

I originally sent my papers to Texas, but it was immediately sent to California with the new routing system.  I was hoping for a speedy process, but from what I have read on VJ, I'll be waiting longer than expected.

I just called the 800 number that was listed on the form: 1-800-375-5283
I went through a lot of options and finally got a person, but it wasn't that long of a wait.

I have also read that if you select that you have a case pending, but do not have the case number with you, then it goes straight to an operator.
