I received a PM this evening asking for help writing an online profile on Latin Cupid/Cyber cupid. To that end, I thought I would open it up to the forum if anyone wants to help a fellow member. Winning entry gets an all expense his/her taxi fare to Karen's pizza from chipichape (A $3200 peso value)! Extra points for Spanish

It's kinda hard without knowing the guy.

Here are some pointers:

1. be humorous.  it stands out.  the girls get hundreds of e-mails.  do NOT write boring predictable stuff.
2. do post photos
3. it's good to list places you have traveled to recently (and post photos from those places into your profile).  this communicates to the girl that you have significant disposable income and are not a boring person.  Do not list income or put photos of your property - it will attract the wrong kind of a girl, and the good kind will deem you shallow and desperate; it is a male equivalent of girls posting their photos in lingerie.
4. do not come across intense (as in, I look for a wife.  I want to get married next week.)

Umm...  I can't really give specifics without knowing anything specific about the guy.

I think you would have no problems writing online profiles  .

Seriously, what you have suggested is a lot better than 99% of profiles out there, and will definitely generate responses.  Colombianas are not coy.

In the top text box on Latin American Cupid:

Mi nombre es ________.
Yo soy _______ , ________ , y  ________.
Me gusta _______ , _________, y ________.

Fill in the middle info honestly.

In the bottom text box:

Buscando una chica _______ , _______ y ________.

If he is having trouble writing about himself, he could always fill in their questionaire.

I write this half joking to avoid going into a long post, but I will bet double or nothing on the taxi fare that this gets results. **
