i am obviously pleased and quite surprised by the progress i have had in the last few short weeks on the internet. As previously posted, i dabbled before on the net but amigos for me was a waste of time. What i am wondering is if anyone has made an effort to meet chicas in the USA on the internet? And if so, any feedback? My guess is that a 25-30 y/o hottie in the USA would have 0 interest in someone 47 unless he is a brain surgeon with a fleet of Mercedes but just curious what you may have discovered.

I met several gringas on match and date. The only problem is so many of them just want to correspond - they're content to exchange messages with nothing further developing. There are a lot of neurotic women on the web sites. I did have a brief relationship with a gringa who was gorgeous but who had been married five times. At first I thought it was bad luck (one was gay, one was a drug addict...) but as it turned out she had mental problems which accounted for her bad choices. Too bad, she was a lot of fun to be with, with a great body and personality. I really liked her even though she was a nut.

i met lots of latinas here in nyc on amigos.com, mostly colombianas, a few from other countries. i met one gringa on match.com who went psycho in an email and phone message the next day after our date when i didn't go home with her, freak show.
one colombiana was visiting from cali and wanted to meet me, she was great but hated the cold weather in jan.she ended up going back to colombia. they were all in their 20's, most were mature for their age. one i remember loved the movie fast and furious and had friends that were into that lifestyle, we never went out again after the first date, she was too immature. i dated one colombiana from bucaramanga for about a year, then we broke it off, she didn't want to have a family, she had turned into a gringa and wanted a career. in all i dated more girls here than in colombia, luckily a positive experience overall.

I haven't tried meeting Latinas online in America, might out of curiosity now if people are having some luck (not sure how many there are in Portland though, and no way in hell I'd get on Myspace or some site like that). I tried two different sites for 2 weeks or so each. The white girls around 20ish? Hahahaha...immature, low quality, or nutcases from my experience. I did have one girl contact me who seemed pretty decent but she was a total clubber/city girl (go figure in LA) which I'm not into. I've met some older people who have decent luck (30+) with people their age. The rule I've heard on the west coast for older guys is half his age+7, and there's little luck near the border.

I have had no experiences at all with dating or chatting with a Latina on line in America but I have a childhood friend that did meet and marry his wife on line about 5 years ago and they seem to be happy and the marriage a success so I guess anything is possible, I guess I have been so involved with the Colombian search over the past 7 years that I never considered this, likewise my ex wife was Hispanic (Puerto Rican) and after a bitter divorce, I categorized and generalized all American women irregardless of their race as basically having the same type of mentality and never considered to venture in this direction for these reasons
