what are the brand names in colombia? i read here once of a brand called Genfer , anyone have any experience with this? also, there is another, Eroxim in colombia, any info?

I'm not big on penal aids (pun intended ), but after doing a general Google search, it looks like Eroxim = Viagra:

"Following its international launch in 1998, Pfizer’s Viagra achieved strong sales success in Latin America. Unfortunately, since its successful debut the region has proved more troublesome for sales of Viagra. Pfizer has run into problems because of counterfeiting, but the biggest setback has been certain governments refusing to recognize the drug’s patent. In particular, Pfizer has faced considerable problems in Colombia, where a local pharmaceutical company called Lafrancol SA was allowed to sell a copycat version of Viagra under the name Eroxim. In the first four years of launch over 1.8 million tablets of Viagra were sold by Pfizer and this made Colombia an important growth market for the company. However, Pfizer’s sales have been eroded by competition from companies such as Lafrancol SA. For example, a box of 10 Viagra tablets cost around 27,000 Colombian pesos whereas Lafrancol’s Eroxim cost around 17,000 Colombian pesos."

In other words, you get more bang for your buck (yep, another intended pun) with the Viagra clone, Eroxim.

I actually bought 2 Viagra equivalents at the Exito supermarket pharmacy.  It cost me 4300 pesos (around $1.75)  I asked for Viagra and he said they had the generic brand.  Can't remember the name.  They looked identical to Viagra but were generic.  Just ask, they will help you.
