That age range thing is so variable from woman to woman; I have seen women in their mid to late thirties who don't want to meet anyone over 40, and then some girls in their early twenties who will accept a guy up to 50-55. I guess it depends on their degree of desperation

Really, don't go until you are sure the girl is worth the time and $ investment of the trip (and I don't mean just the sex part). If you don't like the girl for any reason, move on.  If you do, get to know her better.

The OL dating thing is supposed to save you money and time, and help you sort bad apples from the start.  Use it.  Don't get on the plane just because someone has answered your e-mail.  They have to earn your visit.

i am confident in the girl from colombia. the girl from lima is a dream but it is too far to go for a date. I dont think she really knows what she wants. DT,  I have been at this since 2001 and had a few long term relationships, one lasting 2 years.  You just recently met your "Diamond" on your first trip yet can't put two words of spanish together. You say I will be the last to learn, yet how do you really know your novia except what you hear filtered from a translator?

If I wanted a woman 30+ with kids, it would be easier than shooting fishing in a barrel with a shotgun, more like using explosives at they would all rise to the surface. That would be an easy shortcut. Yet I am looking for something special that rocks my world.

PP, You conveniently forget that this is my second time around in SA... I dated & visited a latina in Bogota in 2000 (beat ya by a year).  She was bilingual and had a US Visa, so it was much less effort.  She was a girlfriend for 2 years.   I learned enuff this time to know I didn't want to hang in Bogota and wanted a more tropical environment like Cali, without the heat/humidity of the BQ/Cartegena coast. 

Now I'm nearing retirement and I can put full time efforts into this relationship/language/ex-pat stuff. Plus, God gets the credit for me finding my Cali Diamond; Credit goes around to all that helped make it a success so far. 

I simply stated a "what if" scenario that correlates to your values expressed many times on this forum.  The values you write about are the opposite of me and many others. (I get regular PM's and emails from others that LIVE in Colombia stating that my comments and observations are "right on".   I'll be hooking up with several of these guys on the next trip. )

I ignore your consistent put downs regarding who and how I've chosen (you regularly engage in personal attacks without ever meeting me or her and moderators do nothing about it), yet you continue to post them... you continue to look small and petty to others that may share my perspective in this forum and to the multiple guys in Cali that know YOU first hand that also know me.

Another question out of curiousity...I've noticed that as recently as today, your "Cali Diamond's" pictures and profile are still on All Colombian Girls website, portraying her as still available.  Were you aware of this??  Has she not had a desire to have it removed, or didn't she know??

I was just wondering if this bothered you that, after all of this time, she hasn't contacted the agency to have her pictures and profile removed.

Nice try PDaddy, I can always count on you to come up something possibly negative.  It was agreed by both of us on the first trip that she would pull her profile.  But that assumes ACG actually answers the phone and does it.  Isabel can't do it, she answers the phone.  Only the webmaster can.

PDaddy, have you been to ACG?  I've seen what goes on as far as web maintenance...I've used the PC the part time webmaster uses...it is a Pentium II with 128 Meg of RAM.  Isabel actually called someone that had previously died while I was there (ACG471)...she is still listed in the website.   Yes, so is Cali Diamond...welcome to Colombia...things operate on latin time.   All of the women that were NOT available when I was there (married, no contact info, had boyfriend) are still listed. 

Their internet provider went down almost every day I was there that week, at least for an hour or so.  I don't know how those slow PC's can even upload jpg files.  They put profiles in, but they don't take them out.  It's that way at most of the agencies.  I've been there, I know what I speak of.  I would say Cali Charm is the most above-board.  Walter has a computerized method to cull out of date profiles from his website.   

I could care less what others say or do (nor not do) anyway... I know my gal and her kids and where I stand with them.

That's a first Sean...as a rule I've never seen anything written in that editing field, so I never notice them; I tend to overlook fine print as I get older (poorer eyesight) as well.  I'll look for it next time, but like I said, his attacks are ignored as far as I'm concerned.  Thanks for pointing it out.

Actually, we try to leave some 'bread crumbs' anytime we edit internal in the post. The ones which are blank are probably when the member edits their own post, and neglect to make an entry for the reason. Some do - most don't.

Hmmmm - BTW - that last phrase reminds me of a t-shirt I saw on this gorgeous young woman walking down Kreschatyk (street) in Kyiv one day. It read:

This was back some years ago when English was still a rare skill even in Kyiv. I have often wondered if she knew what was written on her shirt. She was a beauty.

Negative?? me??   don't be sooooooooo defensive...I think it's a valid question.  Have I ever been to ACG??  Well, I know Ricardo very well, though I haven't been to the agency for a few years.  Let's see...Isabel has NEW profiles put up almost on a daily basis, but can't have profiles removed??  Or the program they use can only upload files and not remove them??  If that's the case there would be profiles there from 4 or 5 years ago...I know MANY women from ACG who have had their profiles removed...get real.

Oh, yes, there is ALWAYS the convenient "Welcome to Colombia, everything's done on latin time"...hell, it's a miracle then that Avianca can even get one flight off the ground in a day...let alone the hundreds that they operate everyday...

My advice, get ahold of Ricardo directly...have you even talked to anyone there regarding the problem??  or you're just taking your Cali Diamond's word??  Step to the plate and get it done my friend...
